Ideally, soon. Very soon. At the very least, I would expect him not to return to the school after Christmas Break. A smart man in his situation would not come back. Cut your losses and try to get a coaching job somewhere around Richmond, VA Beach or at a private school. Good riddance.

No one will hire them to coach high school football in Virginia ever again with his track record of cheating. Besides he hasn’t shown that he can win without his PME all-stars.

I noticed that the PME/Freedom/Hayfield commit to VT was just elevated to a 4-star recruit. I wonder: did Overton take the job at Hayfield knowing the National District in Fairfax County was inferior so that he could pad his stats to earn another star in order to negotiate a better NIL deal with VT?

From the footage I’ve seen, he looks like a 5star to me.

Go watch the RB tape. There’s a reason he’s going to a program that is a perennial mid December bowl participant and that’s because the PP is right. Kid padded his stats against mediocre opponents. Now had he had better coaching in high school he might be a legit 4 star. It’s a shame he didn’t get that.

He committed to tech while he was still at Freedom. The kid was dominating at Freedom as a freshman. And Freedom plays a much tougher schedule than an FCPS school.

Bragging about “dominating” while at a PWC public school. My god these Hayfraud families basically drag themselves.

Alas, Overton is not a smart man so he will fight to keep is whopping 60K a year security guard salary for as long as he can as it is, sadly, the best he can do.

90k

Source? The Defender article said it was a shade below 60K.

Still a comically low figure for anyone qualified to hold a decent job. Unfortunately for Overton, he isn't qualified to hold a decent job.

90k, summers off, laid back, close to home, he’s a football coach who can build his football program through there.

Not bad for a coach.

You think 60K a year after taxes is “not bad”? I feel bad for you.

The only real question is, on that salary is he rolling a 2015 BMW 5 series or a 2010 BMW 7 series? With dark tinted windows and a vanity plate alluding to his name, of course.

90k with summers off and his own business.

My god, these Overton supporters don’t even know what success looks like. Thinking 90k is something to brag about…how sad.

Nothing to brag about, but it’s not bad for a high school football coach.

Yes, it is. That you need this told to you speaks volumes.

A used 2010 is more in his price range.

What do you think public high school football coaches make?

Intelligent people would bet yes on this. But it’s not like she needs them now that the VHSL confirmed that Hayfield did cheat.

Why do you think the Hayfield parents slinked away from that Dec 4 hearing like a bunch of cowards?

Think about this. If most of the Hayfield parents who were suing have kids who were seniors, their kids will be gone and the ban wouldn’t affect them next year so they could be looking at it as it isn’t their fight.

The superintendent stopped supporting Hayfield after she realized there was more people in the county who were hating on the school than supporting. When she turned on the school, a conflict was created with the $900/hr attorney who was representing Hayfield.

Now they have no attorney and try finding a good local attorney that will represent you in a case like this that has no conflict with FCPS. That won’t happen. You basically have to find an attorney from out of state that is licensed to practice in Virginia.

The kids have already been withdrawn from this years playoffs so that isn’t being challenged. There is the high attorney fee, you will have a hard time finding an attorney to go against FCPS, and the parents in the lawsuit have kids that will be graduating and won’t be their for next years portion of the ban.

At this point it's more trouble than it’s worth for them. The ban can only affect the staff and the students who will be at the school next year.

I wanted to see what was going to happen in the hearing tomorrow as well. The superintendent ruined the whole Hayfield case.

Are these the new talking points for the Hayfraud cheaters? More feeble attempts at deflection?

He couldn’t hack it academically so he repeated a grade? That makes sense, he is an Overton.

Sorry is the Dec 4th hearing still on? Prior judge ruling was just injunction to let them play in meantime - even though they withdrew, is the 2 year vhsl ban still in effect?

Wow! Being the highest paid Top Flight is something all student-athletes being coached by Overton should strive for. That coupled with poor morals, ethics and integrity should make for well rounded young adults. Wait, they should also use school facilities for their private business without permission and become a burden on the taxpayers that live in their communities as well. Sign me up! At 45-50 years old, they will be yelling up the stairs for mom to make them meatloaf.

That you have to ask the question, and can't do the basic research on your own (or don't simply know) is really sad. But here goes - your average NoVa public school HS football coach, from a salary perspective, looks a lot like the guy Thompson fired to bring in the criminal Overton. Aziz was a full-time teacher with 15+ years of experience, meaning he is already making north of $90K just for teaching. Others look like Mike Dougherty who have over 20+ years of teaching experience, meaning he is already making north of $100K just for his day job. Others are administrators who are making $120K not including their stipend for coaching. They also likely doing something during the summer, be it teaching summer school, working camps etc. ... resulting in another 7-20K easy. So long and short, most NoVa public school coaches are north of $100K a year before coaching stipends. Those who aren't, like Overton, just aren't that bright.

Finally, there is no way Overton is netting 90K a year. If he is, I sure hope someone from the IRS is reading this thread. No way he is netting 30K+ from his little PMS football thing.

Does your kid play any sports? Have you ever paid for a privately run sports clinic or lesson? Based on my researching as much as possible to cheap out on private sports lessons for my kid, I can easily assume he's netting $30K even after keeping the lights on at his facility.

Was this an attempt at wit? Every time you Hayfraud kids post you demonstrate just how stupid you are. Stick to your little Barstool Insta page. At least there you can be pathetic in isolation.

What’s with the insults? You are talking about an accomplished kid that’s doing positive things and the fact that he’s already committed to a college that’s no easy to get into makes you look jealous.
