You’re still not answering the question about what kind of democracy lets its president investigate his main political opponent (via proxies like the FBI or Congress) but refuses to sanction or cooperate with the many investigations against himself.

Cons want the Dems to investigate themselves. That’s the only way they get around the optics of a federal investigation of Biden but not Trump’s many allegations. The DNC has already said this isn’t going to happen.

I’m a Dem. Let’s move on and have a federal (which branch?) investigation of Read AND all 24 of Trump’s accusers.

This is Capitol Hill" and how lawmakers at the time were "immune from a lot of crime," later adding that even raising the issue of sexual harassment "would have been a tough one to bring up against any of them in any kind of substantive way."
