I've been trying to figure this out. DH and I have had some laughs over it. But, you have come up with the absolute best visual. I'll never unsee an elephant trunk.

Absurd.

Well, it turns out that Robin Pogrebin, one of the authors of this new book, was a classmate of Kavanaugh's at Yale.
She failed to disclose that. Seems like another little detail that would be important.

These two are looking more and more like hacks.

Why is that relevant by itself? I mean, we already know what the secret handshake at Yale involves.

It's pretty obvious that's what they are, right?

Meaning, who trusts the NYT and its staff to be objective about political stuff?

No one.

Evidently, they tried to pitch the story as a "news" story, but even the NYTimes said there just wasn't enough there to come under "news."
I guess it ended up under "culture" or some other nebulous category.

What they used to call a "gossip column."

Watching Kamala Harris twist her logic into a six dimensional pretzel on Maddow to try to get
this to stick to kavanaugh.

She’ll (Harris) never recover. She’ll end up having to call Biden and warren racists to get back into the hunt.

Kavanaugh is effectively untouchable because the smear campaign has failed so miserably.

I trust this woman’s word, a former prosecutor, over all the gop yahoos on here absolutely beside themselves with glee that the victim can’t remember. That doesn’t make it any less a crime.

You keep saying “smear campaign” as though it means it was all made up.

If he didn’t like being smeared, he shouldn’t be a walking poop monster.

We know you guys don’t believe women. It doesn’t suit your narrative. He wants, he gets.

Blasey-Ford isn't believed by her best friend or her father.
Ramirez was unable to provide any witnesses to corroborate her story. Took her 6 days to "remember." Then, she said she was pretty drunk and wasn't sure it was Kavanaugh.
The NY Times "victim" denies any knowledge of the incident.
And, don't forget Swetnick. Or, maybe, yeah, forget Swetnick.

And, you think this wasn't a smear campaign?

I see. So, your narrative reigns supreme...that everyone accused must be guilty...whether or not there is corroboration or whether or not it even makes sense. Tell that to the Duke lacrosse players.

Not even Ford’s own best friend could help her out.

Tell you what: let’s let the FBI actually do their job without Donnie stopping the investigation early or otherwise handcuffing the investigators. Because if all those former prosecutors believe the stories, I bet they’re true. Your narrative is that there’s nothing here, Bretty “I LIKE BEER” acted impeccably even though he lost his $hit (judges aren’t supposed to do that, never) at a job interview, even though Leahy has him dead to rights on perjury from an earlier testimony... Kavanaugh is slime bucket and it doesn’t matter how vociferously you defend him. We can see it.

I bet Mark Judge, slimy Republican and Kavanaugh!s best buddy as well as the witness Blasey Ford named, could tell you.

Too bad the White House wouldn’t let the FBI interview him. So we don’t know.
