Other people on this thread said that they were at the AGM and it wasn't discussed. Also it wasnt on the agenda to discuss.

That one dad posted two or 3 emails with info in the last week. Each says somthing different but all are saying GA will change.

The email is from Meghan which is the GA director. Also the photo was blacked out but if you zoom in it shows Meghan Frey who is indeed an employee of GA.

So now the person has posted multiple versions of the same communication? This doesnt make sense.

How are you able to read through the blacked out part?

Looks like email one and 3 are the same but three gives us more insight the questions being asked.
Number 2 says it was confirmed by another director so most likely an email from someone else.

It all looks legit to me.

How would them posting emails make a difference? If they were wrong people would just ignore them? All they’ve posted has been true? The so cal forum you can see who posted what and their posts so far have been true.

If GA announces BY then obviously they were wrong but up to this point that one dad only giving us the facts.

No, I was just answering a previous comment that took that hypothesis as valid.

This is the frustrating thing about all the ECNL people. MLSN and GA haven't said anything about switching from BY to SY. At this point its becoming clear that they intend to stay BY. If they wanted to do something different the plans would have been announced.

All that's going to happen if MLSN + GA stay BY while ECNL changes to SY is that they wont play in each other's tournaments.

Also, there would be an incentive to create a youngers BY league.

Someone already leaked an email from GA office they are changing age groups but the GA board has not approved them to announce yet. It was also announced publicly to all GA directors at their meeting this summer.

Seems odd and exactly like the made up "So Cal" announcement from last year. At least this time the faker was smart enough to not define an announcement date.

That poster on SoCal forum is credible. They posted emails from ECNL about age change before it was announced. As well as posted before age group change was announced and was just a rumor. I don’t know what email you’re referring to and I’m from Southern California. In my eyes they are credible.

Anyone who thinks I’m lying should goto the forum and look it up themselves.

Having 2 age groups will hurt club enrollment as there would be no true upward mobility path. Also the soccer landscape would become about chasing RAE and not development. Business wise a bad decision and distracts the US even further away from understanding how to develop young players.
