MLS academies play MLS1, so if MLS1 goes SY then MLS academies also will go SY. It’s logical.

No, I was just answering a previous comment that took that hypothesis as valid.

This is the frustrating thing about all the ECNL people. MLSN and GA haven't said anything about switching from BY to SY. At this point its becoming clear that they intend to stay BY. If they wanted to do something different the plans would have been announced.

All that's going to happen if MLSN + GA stay BY while ECNL changes to SY is that they wont play in each other's tournaments.

Also, there would be an incentive to create a youngers BY league.

Someone already leaked an email from GA office they are changing age groups but the GA board has not approved them to announce yet. It was also announced publicly to all GA directors at their meeting this summer.

Seems odd and exactly like the made up "So Cal" announcement from last year. At least this time the faker was smart enough to not define an announcement date.

That poster on SoCal forum is credible. They posted emails from ECNL about age change before it was announced. As well as posted before age group change was announced and was just a rumor. I don’t know what email you’re referring to and I’m from Southern California. In my eyes they are credible.

Anyone who thinks I’m lying should goto the forum and look it up themselves.

GA AGM was nearly 2 months ago. And it’s open to the public for $150 a pop.

The guy on so cal forum posted another screen shot with additional details. You can say it’s fake but it definitely looks real and I’m turning to the GA is changing team now team. Was 50/50 before have a May kid so was hoping for GA BY.

That Carlsbad poster is not reliable. That one guy is and has posted screenshots from ECNL and GA that look real and ECNL stuff ended up being true.

I was hoping for GA to be BY but it definitely seems GA is changing with the other big groups.

The post that guy made before says it’s happening signed by Megan which is a director for the GA.

I guess it comes down to which made up post you want to believe.

For the record, "Thatonedad" is credible. He posted several email screenshots before, and all turned out to be true. The denial from BY crazy is unbelievable. No wonder some parents send their kids to bioband to play down 1 year, in order to play top league. They need to seek counseling.

They’ve announced it to all club directors already? How is that not an official communication? Just ask your club GA director, they would know the truth.

It's because it's fake. Someone made up the communication to try and win an arguement online. What executive would risk their job emailing about something so specific to their job? The faker has a 50/50 chance of being right. If things go their way they'll gloat endlessly online. If things dont go their way they'll stink back into the shadows and move onto some other stupid thing.
