And there we have it. DCUM poster calling for violence against the United States. FFS |
A blond, blue-eyed Ukrainian would not be out there cheering for the kidnapping and execution of babies. |
Mahmoud never did that The student protesters also never did that |
You hear that, Melania? However, a green card holder still has to go through due process. |
Indeed, but some people are saying he should just be deported, as in he doesn't get due process. This is not that dissimilar to the Red Scare where ultra right wing nationalists went after anyone who sympathized with communists. Ultra right wingers don't actually believe in free speech except when it comes to them being able to spew hate and anti-government rhetoric. |
I saw plenty of pictures and videos from the student protests cheering on 10/7, wearing Hamas insignia, and carrying imagery of paragliders, all of which is cheering for the kidnapping and execution of babies. And yes, Khalil is in favor of that. Stop insulting my intelligence. The videos and photos from the student protests are all out there. Same with the statements from the groups Khalil supported. He should be freed so the normal processes are followed, but I, like most Americans, aren’t going to be sad when his conditional green card is yanked and we see the back of him. We don’t need Hamas supporters here. |
I hate the gaslighting. Ukrainian protestors done peaceful protests. No handing out blood libel flyers, pouring concrete down school bathroom pipes, blocking Russian students from class. It has nothing to do with the color of their hair and eyes. |
This is not quite correct. CUAD, the organization that Khalil is affiliated with, openly and expressly supports Hamas. https://www.nytimes.com/2024/10/09/nyregion/columbia-pro-palestinian-group-hamas.html?unlocked_article_code=1.204.eMto.GB-5v4lzalT2&smid=url-share |
+1 Or supporting terrorist organizations explicitly. |
Of course that's what they are calling for. Being deliberately obtuse doesn't change the obvious messaging from the agitprop Palestinians, who know better than to conduct themselves in such a manner in any other country of the world. It's about time our gov't decided not to allow a anything goes platform for hate speech, advocacy of genocide against Israel, vandalism of university buildings, and disruption of university operations, all of which goes far beyond civil disagreement about policy. He can "stand up" for Palestinian rights in Gaza, where he belongs. I'm sure his message will be heard and responded to appropriately there. |
That is according to your court of public opinion, legally you are not responsible for the actions of others. His green card was yanked by presidential order. He did not do something to legally loose it Even if his green card was to be revoked. He is married to a citizen and can legally change it to a fiancé or a student visa |
These last several posts are the machinations of sick, deranged people. The protests were about calling for a ceasefire to stop the CURRENT indiscriminate Israeli slaughter of innocent men, women and children in Gaza. Which, incidentally, the entire world, aside from the U.S. and Israel, agree on. That’s it.
No support for Hamas. No endorsement or support, material or otherwise, for any organization that harms / harmed innocents. No indifference to the plight of the hostages, or their loved ones desperately seeking their safe return. No calls for the destruction of Israel. No calls for harm to Jewish individuals here or anywhere else. None of that. The distortion of those facts, on the basis of an enduring hatred and disdain of others perceived as lesser than, is astounding. All of you making these claims are truly unwell. |
that's not what 'global intifada' means. |
