| I've never seen myself as someone who is rooting for the U.S. to fail, but I am now. I'm hoping that the Republicans take the House so they can OWN the horrific policies they're about to impose. I'll be just fine -- I'm another rich white person who just doesn't give a sh-t anymore. I'll just sit back and fiddle while Rome burns. |
Andy Beshear won the KY election while supporting trans rights. This ain't it. |
Already are! Biden’s attempted rewrite of title IX is in the dustbin. |
Wrong. https://www.wsj.com/politics/elections/trump-ads-transgender-rights-harris-election-b287c9d8 |
We all knew this about your side. |
Not paying for Murdoch's rag, sorry |
Conservatives weren’t the ones making the changes on this issue. |
Keep burying your head in the sand. Let me guess, you thought Kamala would win? |
Ok, so this isn’t an issue any more. What to discuss next? |
I don't know any MAGA's who listen or care about others. Shame on you for thinking what happened here is ok. It's not we are in for years of division and it started when Trump supporters stormed the capitol. Shame on you for forgetting that day when Trump tried to off his VP.....and for forgetting all of it. I don't believe you voted for Harris. |
+10000 It makes me sad to feel this way but I totally agree. No more donations after hurricanes and other natural disasters, not going to care when red states can’t find quality doctors willing to work in their states to provide women’s health care, and certainly not going to care when then voters can’t afford to buy homes, have to help out their parents who no longer get social security and can’t afford to pay for their prescription drugs. Somehow, all of these people will still blame the Dems. |
They will blame the Ds because they have been conditioned to think that Big Brother will bail them out if they make poor life choices, spend more than they bring in, don't save for retirement, reproduce indiscriminately, and anticipate the government redistributing income and benefits to them from more productive members of society. |
Yeah! Even those nuts in the Dearborn thread insisting that I am supposed to care what happens to Muslims in Michigan after they voted for Trump. Somehow I am supposed to be made of endless compassion, existing only to salve those whose own choices have somehow left them worse off. If there is one thing I feel very sure of after this week, it is that I am not made of endless compassion. It's been incredibly liberating, actually, to feel this need for caring and protection start to lift. |
