McCarthy threw down the gauntlet in conference yesterday morning. They responded. But it’s not about McCarthy per se. It’s about their ability to wield power. They made life miserable for Boehner but never were able to fully kneecap him. The delicious irony is that Trump led the party to the position in which it now finds itself by targeting the more centrist members who voted in favor of impeachment. |
