Based on what, exactly? I see a young dude, with a male name (Lance) wearing a fuzzy hoodie slanket-type thing, then further down a dude wearing a lavender hat and sweatshirt with black pants, and finally skiing outfit on a snowboard. Nothing particularly clear that indicates, at least in those pictures, a transitioning transgender male-to-female person. Again, it is entirely possible this turns out to be accurate, but based only the images in the article currently that we have, it doesn't really hold up (yet).

How close was the hospital? Did the drivers even know how to get there? I assume he had zero chance without EMS on scene and an ambulance to stabilize him en route to hospital. Private transport after that sort of wound is futile.
