News reports suggest his roommate was his companion and partner.

All the news reports are based on leaks to one reporter. Assuming it is true, an assumption that I am not willing to make, that would not make Robinson trans. Are you sure that you know what a trans person is?

At first it sounded to wild to be true. But more and more news outlets are now reporting this- seems likely it is true

I'll wait until all the "more and more news outlets" reporting it aren't Murdoch owned/adjacent, Fox-related outlets. Entirely possible it turns out to be accurate, but the pictures of the roommate posted so far at the Daily Mail link previously ( https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-15095195/tyler-robinson-roommate-text-messages-cops-arrest-utah.html ) don't appear to someone transitioning (at least not publicly).

That looks like a trans person to me- if it is the roommate

sorry, David Shuster is not "disgraced" just because he used to work for MSNBC. He also worked for FOX, doesn't that raise his stature?

There is a lot of evidence coming out and it all points to the killer being immersed in a dark gaming world that is highly influenced by the alt-right. The only so-called evidence of left ideology is a clear misinterpretation, given that the reference is obviously to gaming, not to WWII (please, can we listen to the kids who are familiar with his world and stop pretending he was a history scholar?)

If new totally contradictory evidence comes out to show that he was in fact a radical leftist, I for one promise to come back to this thread and say, "I was wrong."

I'll take the opinion of a person who is close to the investigation - the Governor of Utah - over a reporter who evidently cannot hold a job very long at any given network and who knows nothing about the investigation and chooses to speculate about it. He has provided zero evidence of his claim.
And as for that "left ideology," all I need to hear was "Hey Fascist! Catch!" Sounds A LOT like the language the left has been spouting for about 10 years now.

I can’t imagine being in his roommates shoes right now.

Regardless of their sexual orientation and identity they are a human being who must be horrified at what that sick young man did.

I hope people show compassion and have empathy.

Wow I did not expect this.

I can’t say I agreed with any thing Charlie has said but I do agree with this.

Thank you for sharing.

lol. So basically TPUSA knows it needs Theil’s money and is willing to go so far as to say gays don’t have to be cast out of civil society (although they are still against God’s law they are allowed to donate money to TPUSA.)

It’s so weird the alt-right and these super religious people have this weird look in their eyes.

You can tell when somebody is just pretending from moneybecause they don’t have crazy eyes

yep. she comes across very harsh.
There is nothing soft, Jesus-like, submissive wife about her which is weird because that is her message but her persona says she'd cut a bi$%tch in about 5 seconds flat.
I went down a whole Erika Kirk video rabbit trail the other night.

It’ll be interesting to see if she can continue TP. She certainly sounds as divisive as he was.

Erika Kirk vowed in a speech today to continue her husband’s movement and said that “the cries of this widow will echo around the world like a battle cry,” USA Today reports.

Said Kirk: “If you thought that my husband’s mission was powerful before, you have no idea. You have no idea what you’ve just unleashed across this entire country, and this world. You have no idea the fire you’ve ignited within this wife.”

Hmm. Sorry, gravy train will stop:
1.Her husband had some warmth and charisma, she doesn't.
2. Also, the conservative ecosystem wants its males to lead large movements. Women influencers in the conservative sphere, of which there are many, have to fight for a much smaller slice of the pie and usually their followers are other conservative women.

This family is done for now. Maybe in the fullness of time she can marry another male influencer and carry him to success. This appears to be her talent: pushing a husband to lead. I respect that. It's no small feat.

Yes. She's the JD Vance of the pairing. No charisma, no warmth, no likability. Charlie had charisma in spades and just the right amount of good looks that appealed to both men and women, young people and their middle aged mothers.

Are you...blind? Charlie Kirk was hideous, almost deformed.

+1 His wife is beautiful, he wasn’t. His head and face were weird.

So, we are at the place in the discussion where you are criticizing the appearance of someone brutally murdered and the "charisma" of his widow.
DCUM never fails to disappoint in the shallowness of discussion. You people could have learned something from Charlie Kirk.

Isn't that what Charlie Kirk teaches? He's had some pretty choice criticsms of people himself.

They are all reporting it from the same source, whoever that is. Remember, everyone has an agenda.

The are pictures leaked of the roommate- def trans. Whether they are/were partners, who knows

Where?

In tabloids and random publications citing those tabloids.

There's a reason for this rush to pin this all on a trans person instead of waiting for verified information from official sources.

But it explains a motive though doesn’t it?
The “woman” he was dating is trans and Kirk is very vocal about transgenderism being a mental disorder. Some people are very triggered when you call a spade a spade.

You mean like when we say we have no sympathy for Kirk getting shot since Kirk said that this is the price of the 2nd Amendment?

Cue the “HOW DARE YOU, I AM CALLONG YOUR BOSS” response

HOW DARE YOU EXERCISE FREE SPEECH!

Like Charlie was killed for doing?

Like the right is threatening war on the left over? Like the right statistically more threatens the left, per research over anecdotes? Per the FBI, the far right is a bigger threat.

Per Charlie Kirk’s fatal neck wound, the left is a bigger threat than the right.

A white supremacist shot up a high school the same day Kirk was killed. Funny how that is conveniently being ignored.

They don't need any. The pool of mouth breathing uneducated bigots who will believe anything is huge in this country.

He was privately transported to the hospital? Oy vey. Is it odd we haven't gotten a play by play on what precisely happened after he was shot?

Agree. But if his roommate is trans and was in a relationship with him, I think it’s safe to say he didn’t have an alt right motive.

EXCLUSIVE: Charlie Kirk assassin Tyler Robinson lived with his transgender partner, sources tell me.

The individual, who is a male transitioning to a female, is fully cooperating with the FBI.

Sources tell me the FBI had texts and other communications between Robinson and the individual that helped FBI authorities solidify that Robinson was indeed the shooter.

Yeah right.

What if it’s true? Why don’t you want it to be true?

DP poster but roommates are irrelevant. And I’ll stand by this even if we find out his roommate was alt right.

Kids share apartments with strangers now because rents are so high. And even if they were friends, it doesn’t matter. Stop trying to pin a crime that is 80% of the time is committed by a white, right wing, heterosexual men on the trans community that has committed 3% of violent crimes. Your Nazi is showing.

Really? So you’d be ok if your 22 YO son had a transgender roommate? I sure as hell would no be.

Of course, I’d be fine with that. What is the issue exactly?

As stated above I would be very concerned about the company he was keeping. I would also be concerned if he was living with a serious gamer, which this roommate apparently also was.

DP I would be fine if my kid was roommates with a transgendered person, a black person, a non-Christian, etc so long as that person was good and kind. Are you saying if someone is transgendered they are by definition not a good person? I don’t get the hate.

They are, by definition, mixed up in the head. I would have sympathy for them but would not want my young adult child that involved in their day to day life.

DP. I don’t agree with you, but I guess I would feel the same about one of my children having an alt-right Christian roommate. Of course, my opinion would be worthless since they’re adults.
.

There you go. But I bet even you would concede that, statistically, the Christian roomer is more likely safer.

No. Alt right “Christians” are statistically far more violent than trans people.
