AP is getting off very lightly for what she did. She'd definitely getting deported after the case, and I doubt she'll have an easy life in Brazil. But BB is the real sicko here, and it's more important to have him locked up for life. If FCPD loses the case against BB, it would be much worse to have him free in town. Better for him to be in jail, and her to be deported.

Clearly FCPD wanted to ensure their case against Brendan was airtight. It's clear that he was the mastermind of the murders, and Juliana was just a ghoul who followed along.

My friend has been telling me for years that Descano and his crew of prosecutors are loose with the law. I mean, I don’t know how much more I need to make up my mind. This one is terrible. Light jail sentence then deportation? He was a federal agent. It could not be that hard to get him to fess up.

I’m pretty sure that it’ll be a light treatment in Brazil. She will likely be returned to live with family and friends, if she is even in the quota list for picks ups by the feds.

I don’t think people understand that when you’re deported back to your country, you don’t serve time in prison for a crime you committed in a different country.
If Juliana is deported, she’ll be free.

Don’t you think they would have charged her for Christine’s murder at this point? She wasn’t charged for that, she won’t be judged for that.

If she takes a plea deal it’s the Judge that decides the sentence. Not a jury.
