Ah! My niece is 5’7” in 5th grade. She is the tallest kid in her school and she is not happy about it. Her parents are 6’ mom and 6’6” dad…. |
classmates??? Plural? Do more than one person thought it sensible to hold back a kid born wayyyyyy before the summer? |
| My 9yo DD in 4th grade wears mostly 5s, occasionally a 6 depending on the brand. |
| my 9 yr old girl wears a womens sz 9. She is 5 ft tall |
| Size 3. My 7th grader is a size 7. I guess my kids have small feet. |
| Mens size 7 but he is very tall. |
NOPE. I'm a 5'6" adult female and wear a size 11. My 10 year-old daughter wears a size 8 women's. My 8 year-old daughter wears a size 4 kids. |
| Men’s size 7.5 (not youth), age 9 |
| My almost 10yo 4th grade dd is a kids size 4/womens size 6. Her older sister is now a womens 8.5. I was a 7 pre-kids and about a 7.5 now so they’re both likely to end up with larger feet than mine. I’m 5’7 but should’ve been @5’9 (autoimmune disorder at puberty stopped my growth). Eldest is only 5’2 now but I expect hasn’t had her growth spurt yet. |
| DD wore size 8 woman in 4th grade and was 5’ tall. Two years later, she’s grown to 5’1 and still in size 8 shoes. That’s about my height but smaller than my feet. |
Woah! My girl is 4'3 and her shoe size is 2. |
Did we really need to revive a 7 year old thread for this? Haha. |
How did you find this thread from 7 years ago? |
| I could not believe it either; I have 4th grader twin boys. Just got new shoes. One now needs a size 6, the other size 7. |
|
One wore a 3 in girls and the other wore a 2.
The one who wore a 2 has stopped growing and is a 6.5 in women’s at 14.5. Her sister is 11 and now wears size 6. My guess is she will be a size bigger than her sister but it’s just a wild guess. My observation is that feet are the first big growth at the start of puberty, and the first to stop growing. Known many 4th/5th graders with adult size feet that stopped growing in early middle school. |
