What size shoe does your 4th grader wear?

Just for the foot-size/height people: My first cousin, once-removed, is 5’10-5’11 and she wears just 7-7.5. She’s 80 years old— I think feet were smaller back then.

Anecdotally, I’ve known some tall people with proportionally smaller feet, but not any short people with big feet. That’s just my own little world experience.

I know 2 women who are 5'3" and 5'4" who wear size 11 shoes.

My 4th grader is wearing a size 1.5. We will probably buy 2's for school, but they will be big.

13y 8th = 4-5 in kids, 6-7 in womens

That kid will be over 6'. I guess my 10 yr old DS is short. He wears a youth size 4 now.

Yep, my 10 year old dd is women’s 8.5. It was an expensive shoe year as she needed bigger shoes almost monthly!

4… based on this thread he must have small feet. He’s above average in height.

My just turned 9yo rising 4th grader wears a 5 or 5.5 kids which is about a 7.5 or 37 in women’s, but he typically wears kids shoes still. I also happen to wear the same size and was delighted to find I can buy kids shoes because they make them in my size. This is great for athletic shoes which are usually identical to adult shoes but 10-20% cheaper!
