My DD just turned 9 and she wears a 3.5/4. |
I'm the op. My son is 9. I'm pretty sure most of his classmates are 9 with a few 10 year olds maybe? Haven't heard of any 11 year olds in his fourth grade though.
I'm just surprised at how fast the feet are growing. At least he's still wearing the same shirts and pants from last year. |
My son is in 5th, but he was just 10 in June. He is size 7. Last size in youth - will have to pay more for mens' shoes after this! |
Our 8 1/2 year old son wears a 7 1/2. His twin sister wears a 1 1/2! |
Wow! |
My 9yo, 4th grade boy wears a 6 1/2 - Dick's had a nice selection, but I have to order his golf shoes from Zappos. |
My son is 10.5 yrs old, and wears size 4.5. I am amazed at all of the larger sizes kids his age and younger wear! His height is 50th percentile but maybe he will turn out to be shorter. |
My 9 yr old boy (he turns 10 in October) wears a men's 7. FYI-- Size 7 is when you have officially outgrown children's shoes and now must buy men's so it gets even more expensive! FYI-- he is tall and his mother wears a size 11 and his 12 year old sister wears a women's 9.5. We answer to Sasquatch. |
I wore a 8.5 when I was in 6th grade- they grew to a 9.5 by high school. |
Toddler size 9.5 |
I think this is "average" size. My just turned 10 yr old wears a 3.5/4 and on the growth chart is about 40 to 50%ile. OP - I think your DS is due for a growth spurt if his feet are growing like mad. Isn't feet growth a precursor to height growth? |
My 9.5 year old wears 5.5 |
4th grade girl here - 10 in August - wearing ladies 8s. |
my fourth-grade DS wears a size 5 1/2 boys . |
Crazy. He's nearly as tall as I am. Doctors predicted he'd be a small kid and they were wrong. |
