If I vote yes, when I drive from OT to Tysons I think I go through like 4-5 different congressional districts. All politics are ridiculous.

Republicans think it’s ridiculous. Except now we have another war, ever growing deficits, a bunch of utter incompetents running the government, and the erosion of rights for everyone but white Christian men. Thats horrifying, not ridiculous.

It's cute that you think the Virginia legislature is anything other than white Christian men.

You seem unfamiliar with the VA GA.

It's 75% male and

House of Delegates:

78% White/Caucasian
14% Black/African American

Senate:

87% White/Caucasian
2% Black/African American

Honestly, I’m not sure why you think that the fact that women and minorities are underrepresented in the VA GA is an argument to continue with the status quo.

Republicans want to disenfranchise women and minorities so they can remain in power and avoid any responsibility for their grift.

you just voted to let Trump do whatever he wants

Virginia won't stop him. Republicans in the Senate have to stop him. You are just believing that your vote and exhortation matters more than the cowardice and insanity there now.

Someone said they didn't want white Christian men making decisions for them. Voting yes give those white Christian men the power.

You are profoundly confused.

Yep. It’s almost like Bezos, the billionaire who owns WaPo, is profiting from Republicans controlling all three branches of the government and doesn’t want that to change. Gee, who’d have thought?

Or maybe the editorial board sees how outrageous the wording and advertising is for this blatant power grab.

About what? Where we have white Christian men?

I didn't realize the WaPo editorial board was allowed to write about anything except how rich people are overtaxed. I guess Bezos granted them an exemption to write about a different topic.

No one has the right to tell another how to vote.

Some people shouldn’t vote.

There should be a competency test. You can differentiate between facts and “alternative facts”.

Sure. And of course, this competency test would be applied to ALL Americans, not just the ones you disagree with. Right?

And I believe in protecting the vote of my fellow Virginians, even those who are “different” from me. Voting no.

Thank you. It is so asinine that NoVa voters will elect people for the southern VA farmers. Their issues are very different.

Fairfax County has more than 1.1 million people (fully an eighth of the state's population). There are entire counties in the western part of the state with populations of 3, 4, 6 thousand people. Land doesn't vote, people do - and over the years the people of Virginia have become increasingly suburban.

Giving AR-15 magazines to out to anyone, including children, outside the Virginia state capital.

For the love of all that is decent, this is why you should vote YES on redistricting.
