| Four pages in and not one mention of Cornell? |
Where’d your kid go? Just curious. Sure he’s happy. Nice attitude. |

There is a vocal anti SLAC contingent on this board and the schools become more and more “worthless” as you make your way down the us News rankings past the WASP schools. Special honors to Richmond, which seems very similar to lots of other schools that don’t catch as many strays, and Bucknell. Bucknell hate has got to be in part response to the “pipeline to the Street” poster, who I found amusing. Then it started being listed with other more “prestigious” undergrad business programs and the prestige police had to put them in their place.
Emory also catches lots of ire on this board. I think people hate it because it’s not Duke or Vandy? |
| The mention of Richmond is recency bias. Normally posters don't give it a second thought. |
| Emory attracts a lot of hate because it’s in a red state AND “niche” |

Why the hate on Richmond?
Never heard of it |
Oh good point. I have never understood this. I think it's really pretty and the quintessential New England LAC. And no I don't have a connection to it at all. |
Yes you have it's in Ted Lasso. |
| Northeastern |
Most of the schools were easy admits back in the days. Many Ivies had 50 60 70% acceptance rates. Ivies invented all sorts of gaming including ED. |
Higher yes. This high, no. |
Ten years ago was 2015. Except for Northeastern, none of these were anyone’s safety. |
I find the vitriol so insane that I keep jumping in to defend UChicago even though my kid didn’t even apply.

What century are we talking about here? |
