Kinda funny how neither one of them noticed all the transfers! Shouldn't the principal be on top of that? And the head of security didn't notice his former players in the hallways until they showed up in his weight room? Was he even doing that job?

To be fair, he was too busy hiring coaches who would later offer drugs to minors to notice all these new kids on campus.

The coach you are talking about was an ex division 1 football player, with a decent job, and reputation in the community before that incident. He could have gotten a volunteer coaching at at any other high school football program in the state. He was well qualified for the position.

And now this, ABRACADABRA!!

And NOW this??? This story is from September 30. This isn’t breaking news.

Correct. This was in response to the post of him being a good young man with a good job, and "qualified to coach."

And now he is this.

Once we get FCPS back to the perfect school system it was, then we breathe a sigh of relief.

Our children will be assured of never encountering unfairness, subtle or blatant cheating, rule bending, black/white/gray areas surrounding rules. Because of course none of this exists in other sports, colleges, work settings, governments.

Maybe the kids following this story have learned something from it all.
It’s life people.
Those wanting to stake out 7-11s, or personally extradite the AD - take a deep breath.
Yes I support all the people being held responsible for their wrongs, and losing their jobs.
But I’d also like to see similar outrage/energy regarding under paid teachers who spend their evenings grading papers and buying their own school supplies and commuting an hour because they can’t afford to live here.
This scandal has made me appreciate the dedicated, awesome coaches who are great role models for our kids.

Maybe if FCPS eliminated the fraud, waste, and abuse, it could have nicer things.

I saw the WJLA report with the distraught Robinson players who never got to play their playoff game they were minutes away from playing. Time heals all wounds as they say, but it’s a shame these seniors still feel really crummy right now. All because of this malfeasance by adult role models and educators. Moreover, one of these role models, who is a retired coach no less, fled overseas with his family to escape the consequences for his cowardly actions.

That coward must know that he broke the law. You know what they say though about the long arm of the law! He'll get his!

I can’t believe she will come back Sunday with her joyful positive weekly employee updates and spin this that she did nothing wrong.

Is it confirmed the AD fled the country, or is that speculation ?

That’s what the Fairfax Times / Wall Street Journal reporter first reported. It was later picked up by other papers, media.

To be fair, what Asra reported was that he resigned, his last day is officially Dec 2, and that he will be moving abroad with his family so his wife can explore new career opportunities.

I am almost certain that she did not write that he's already fled the country.

This. No one has “fled the country.”

Yup. This story is absurd enough without having to layer in fiction.

Not sure why you think it isn't. He is moving abroad ~ he is fleeing the country.

Most people see it’s fairly obvious the abrupt move abroad coincides with the texts going public.
