Wearing Stripper Heels to Costo / waterpark

Anonymous
Is this a new trend? -- I saw 3 women wearing stripper stilettos to walk around Costo last weekend. They were all surprisingly Asian women who married American men. All had babies AND toddlers. Besides the fact that it's just weird , rocking heels with babies and toddlers is risky. Think about all the sprained ankles! Think about how slowly you'll have to walk to get your child if he/ she runs off. What if you fall while holding the baby?

I also saw another mom today at the water park with 5 inch heels. She was actually standing in about 2 inches of water with her baby while the were trying to reach the water coming from the fountain. Any heel near water is a troublesome situation, but I guess some women out there can't leave home without five inches between their foot and the ground.

If you saw it at Costco- you can bet your ass it's not a trend, at least not in any legitimate corner of the fashion world.

Same goes for Walmart.

Why do you call them "stripper" heels?

I completely agree with you on the health and safety issues. These women are silly.

But stripper?

Is it like this?

Stripper heels or not I think women are crazy for wearing heels period. They are destroying their feet and backs and the more heel the worse it is. Is it worth that for fashion? Height? Or even so your butt wiggle is more pronounced and men like that? I don't think so!

I am a man and I approved this message.

In other parts of the country it's called being fashionable, unless the shoes are those see through plastic heels

It used to be only strippers or hookers would wear them, no way would a woman outside of those professions be caught in shoes like that for fear of looking slutty. Now I even see high school aged girls wearing them. It's kind of gross.

Haha. So last year I went to the pumpkin patch and I saw a mom of two kids in stripper heels and a short skirt and I actually did a double take bc I was caught off guard. She was Asian married to an Asian man. She was very pretty and thin but it just looked out of place. Her poor shoes and feet must have been caked with mud by the time she left.

OP Why didn't you ask them why they were wearing these type of shoes and point out how bad they were as mothers.
