Good God, you know very little. Let's go through these one by one. Ellen White plays the 9 for England. That is Alex Morgan's position. Beth Mead and Jodie Taylor played the 11 for England during the WC. That is Rapinoe's position. To answer your question, Rapinoe would start over Beth Mead or Jodie Taylor if Rapinoe played for England in this last WC. This is not even close to a hard decision. Marozsan is a midfielder and plays the 10 for Germany. That is Lavelle's position. Huth and Schuller played the 11 for Germany during the WC. That is Rapinoe's position. To answer your question, Rapinoe would start over Huth and Schuller if Rapinoe played for Germany in this last WC. This too is not even close to a hard decision. Lastly, Diani plays the 7 for France. That is Heath's position. Le Sommer played the 11 for France during the WC. That is Rapinoe's position. To answer your question, Rapinoe would start over Le Sommer if Rapinoe played for France in this last WC. Le Sommer is very, very good, so this is a harder decision than the others. But Rappinoe is also quite good, for all the reasons previously given. |

There is no way a competent coach would start Rapinoe over Le Sommer. When both of them played for Lyon, Le Sommer was tied for the 4th on the team in scoring and tied for 9th in assists, while Rapinoe was not in the top ten on the team in either categories. |

You can assign some arbitrary grade, but here's a snapshot of Rapinoe's performance in the final: 62% pass success 2/14 duels won 1/7 dribbles successful 0 tackles ATTEMPTED And she got player of the match after this performance! No wonder people are calling bull on the best player in the tournament award! |

LOL I see you are at it again. No argument so attack the poster. You know MR would not start for any of those teams. You just like Rapinio. Many posters have gone into detail about MR’s poor play. You ignore the posts and say she goal 6 goals. MR scored two goals from the field. You have some emotional fixation on MR being a great player. All your wishing and hoping does not make it so. Alex Morgan and Carli Lloyd are star players of that generation and should be the ones being celebrated(and getting the endorsements). They have done more for women soccer vs MR any day of the week. Putting it in terms you can understand - Alex Morgan scored 6 goals from the field of play vs MR’s 2. Therefore by your own limited soccer IQ, Morgan is 3 x better vs MR. It’s nice you watched the event. See you in 4 years. |

+1. I'm surprised Morgan didn't step up to better represent the whole team -- she is the real captain there. Anyway, neither of them will be there in 2023. And good news is that there's great new talent. |

Oh lets play your game. So all players must play their club position on World Cup teams. One example but there are countless others. Dunn is/was not playing her normal club position- winger. Therefore you know nothing about soccer. PS if you knew anything about soccer and the style preference of the England , German or France, you would know Rapinio would not start at any position. She is too old, too slow, can not pass under pressure and is a turn over machine. |

I see you don’t have reading comprehension skills either. My argument is that “Rapinio” had 3 times as many goals and assists. Maybe you don’t understand math either. Your personal bias against her no withstanding, she is a great player who has been a constant feature in a team that’s been to 3 straight World Cup finals. I don’t really have to attack you, the stupidity of your post speaks for itself
