This is clearly not even the same kid. |
Wow, this article gives me a different perspective. |
Not seeing the point. Regardless of her choice of words, the police did not want him to follow the boy. He agreed, and then he did it anyway. Whether it was a direct police order may have some legal impact, but he agreed with her statement but followed him anyway. |
I agree, that looks nothing like the kid who was killed. If it were, though, what point is trying to be made? Teens deserve to be killed for taking grainy self-pics on their cellphones? |

No one has mentioned that Zimmerman likely has all the conveniences of being a minority, yet Trayvon did not. No one wants to discuss that. Zimmerman lost his credibility by repeatedly calling authorities - often about matters that did not warrant one call. How often did he lie to a public official? He has zero credibility. |
I'd probably attack someone who was following me too. In the dark. With a gun. |

America shows its true colors once again.
WTF does Trayvon's past have to do with anything? Zimmerman FOLLOWED him and initiated this confrontation, so anything else is irrelevant. I know plenty of teens (including white kids) who have been suspended from school. I, myself, was suspended 3 times in middle school (smart mouth/hormones raging...not a good combo). I also know some teens who have been sent to their mother/father to "straighten them out" and get them back on the right path. And I definitely knew teens who smoke marijuana (I was one of them). What does this have to do with Trayvon being innocent, as it relates to his interaction with Zimmerman? The need by the media to smear Trayvon's reputation is really quite abhorrent. It would seem that some are trying to justify his killing. Not to mention that most of the pictures folks are posting as "proof" aren't even Trayvon. |
Yes. Everytime I read something I'm easily swayed as well. D'oh! |
Wrong. This is Zimmerman's defense. Police can't confirm that this is true, because they didn't witness it nor do they have any eyewitnesses who saw the entire exchange. |
|
again, if everything about trayvons past is so material why arent the same people putting everything out on the table about zimmerman? the arrests, the failed attempts to be a police officer, etc etc.
if trayvon is going to be painted as a thug who deserved to be shot, i think those of you doing this need to put the same effort trolling your fox news and michele malkin sites to find info on zimmerman. |
|
what we really need here and what the family ultimately wants is justice. they want zimmerman to face trial and be judged by a jury or judge. they have clearly stated this.
all this stuff folks are posting doest nothing because it doesnt answer why the investigation was shotty and zimmerman was let free even under the silly FL law. the entire problem is that zimmerman has never been arrested or charged based on faulty investigating. |
They only know that the two were engaged in a fight and tray on hurt Zimmerman. The only statement about who initiated it was zimmermans. Let me ask this: Zimmerman says he was walking back to his car when he was attacked. Why would the boy, who we know was trying to evade Zimmerman, turn back around and chase him AFTER Zimmerman started back to his car? |
Agreed. Nothing in Trayvon's past indicates that he was a violent youth. Zimmerman, on the other hand, has an arrest record for physical violence. How exactly is Trayvon painted as "the violent one" in this comparison? Damn, I fucking HATE racism. While I'm well aware that there are PLENTY of violent black youths, Trayvon was not one of them (or at least we have no evidence to say he was). The attempts to smear his reputation are unforgivable. And most of the folks doing it are parents themselves...probably of teens who are unruly themselves, in some form or fashion. Just shameful. |
Zimmerman is a man child. He knows enough about the system to go home and bash himself up or even do it at the scene after having shot TM in cold blood. This guy was a wannabe cop who was probably too much of a nut job to be on the force. I believe he is capable of any type of manipulation to save his sorry self. There are no witnesses, so we'll never know if his wounds were self inflicted--the FBI will inspect TM's body thoroughly to determine if he could have inflicted those wounds on Z. |
This. It defies logic. TM would have tried to flee. And not out of guilt. I have told my boys to RUN if anyone other than a police officer threatens you on the street. Particularly in the evening hours. |
