GFR Falling apart?

Everyone needs to leave GFR and find a new club. It’s the only way to send a message is to hit them where it hurts: the moneybag.

He coached 2 teams at Union and 2 at GFR this past year with no issues. The only complaints about him were as a TD at GFR, the parents who had him as a coach want him back!

There were a lot of other complaints with him as a coach of those teams...

ED steals money from club. Uses "the partnership" with NM to send money absurd amount of money to him, some kicked back to him. People find out, fire him. He hires a lawyer who finds a way to get him back. Everyone loves these guys IF, and big IF they give a damn about your team.
At the end of the day if you're the ED and TD, you have to care for the WHOLE club not just the teams you're coaching. You can't steal money from the club you supposedly run and work for. You shouldn't be running side sessions, summer camps and individual trainings as a ED or TD when you're the head of the club. A joke

You have no idea what you're talking about. None of this was proven because it didn't happen.

Not OP but just because it hasn’t been published to the parents does not mean it’s not true. The club has been settling a handful of lawsuits for a number of years now. I can’t tell you how I know, but please pressure board to publish spending the next time there is a meeting. Ask about where your money is going to because you have every right to know. I haven’t been involved with the club for a little while, mostly bc I’m aware of RS and NM’s shady spending and court records, so you have every right to disagree with me. I’m just saying what I know.

So you requested and saw the club spending and reviewed it and that's how you came up with these conclusions? I am aware of the lawsuits against GFR, from disgruntled ex employees who didn't do their jobs and got terminated over it. I stand by my statement that you don't know what you're talking about, you've just heard rumors.

Okay, I don't have any need to argue about this. I am confident that these accusations about GFR and especially RS are not true. I understand the rumors will persist though so no sense in saying otherwise. If you *know* the opposite, please post this publicly available information about club spending to prove it.

That's ridiculous. GFR is a lot more than the BoD - you are hurting coaches and other club employees by doing this.

I feel like none of this drama actually impacts the teams and players. We’re happy with our U11 coach and none of this stuff factors into our decision for next year.

It seems some people here have a weird vendetta.

RS yes, NM and ML no. Impacts the girls teams but not the boys. Many former DMV players leaving as they were brought in by NM and ML.

That board member is one of the people who cares about where people's money going. Some people don't care that people are making $500K+ a year to be "directors" and coach their 2-3 teams while not caring about anyone else... others are part of those 2-3 teams where they get all the perks so they love them
