To come from a prominent, educated family like hers, public sex in a park is like a big red flag. |
Especially public sex in the park with a random person she just met while she is married. Huge red flag that something is going on. |
| ^^ Obviously "something" is not usually as horrific as CSA. But certainly a sign of some kind of mental illness or similar for this to happen under the circumstances of her upbringing/life at that point. |
Or figuring out how to edit the story so identifying info is omitted. |
+1 for sure |
Look up Kristen Rossum. I didn't go but same age - that is the story I get from other grads and UVA friends. |
well I went there then. Kristen went there for 2-3 years as a boarder. Basically dumped by her parents while her father got a job as a university president somewhere else. So it sounds like you are one of those posters making huge leaps of assumptions based on zero facts. Kristen and Eleanor were a few grades apart and definitely didn't run in the same crowd whatsoever. |
How does that make me a poser? Everyone knows Saints were and are filled with drugs especially then. They were there at the same time. Father was President of Hampton Sydney which in and of itself is horrifying. I know a lot about St. Catherine's first hand, so your tribal response doesn't fly with me. Weird place. And the fact those women weren't even in the same "group" is even more disturbing as it is hard to come up with another school of it's supposed caliber that produced a murderer and a female rapist within a few years of each other. I get it, you are just being true to your school, but face it, it's a a creepy place that does not produce a lot of people of good character... |
Agree. |
Why is the Hamden-Sydney part horrifying? |
PP was calling you one of the *posters* not a poser….

I agree that sex with a stranger in a public park is indicative of a lack of impulse control and risk/reward assessment, and a disregard for anyone who might stumble upon you. I saw some people having sex in a car while walking my dog recently and I was not pleased. I did not sign up to view a sex act while enjoying a night stroll.
But that said, I would suffer that a million times over if it would save a child from what she was planning. There is just no comparison. I cannot understand how a person could desire to do that to an innocent child, and how they could have no empathy or conscience. I think that's why we're all staring in horror at this story and can't look away. It's too awful to comprehend. And we expect that being a mother would make someone have a desire to protect children, not destroy them. |
People need to know there are a lot of liars/people who make things up for kicks on this board, that's how. I doubt you're adding much value. |
| I laugh at those of you "shocked" this hasn't made the news. Newsflash: 99.99999999% of child sexual abuse cases don't make the news. Even if they're local. You're shocked because the rich white woman didn't make the news and I just don't understand why. |
To, you know, have a case against her? note: sorry if this formats incorrectly |
