Eleanor Hoppe, by and through counsel, respectfully moves this Honorable Court to continue the sentencing hearing currently scheduled for March 27, 2025, and the related sentencing memoranda deadlines for approximately 30 days. The parties anticipated that Ms. Hoppe’s surgery would take place in January or February of 2025. The surgery has not taken place yet. Undersigned counsel is in communication with Ms. Hoppe’s attorney who addresses her medical concerns and needs time to determine if and when the surgery will take place. As a result, undersigned counsel needs additional time to prepare for sentencing. The government does not oppose this motion. To the extent it is needed, the parties agree to the exclusion of time under the Speedy Trial Act. |

Eleanor Hoppe, by and through counsel, respectfully moves this Honorable Court to continue the sentencing hearing currently scheduled for May 1, 2025, and the related sentencing memoranda deadlines for approximately 2 weeks. Due to scheduling changes, undersigned counsel needs additional time to submit the sentencing memorandum. The additional time will allow the parties to respond to sentencing memoranda. The government does not oppose this motion. The parties have conferred and are available in the afternoon on May 15th and May 19th. To the extent it is needed, the parties agree to the exclusion of time under the Speedy Trial Act. |

The United States of America, by and through its attorney, the United States Attorney for the District of Columbia, respectfully submits this Memorandum in Aid of Sentencing in the above-referenced case. For the reasons set forth below, the government recommends that the Court accept the Rule 11(c)(1)(C) plea and sentence Ms. Hoppe to 135 months of incarceration, followed by ten years of supervised release. |

Does anyone know why Eleanor missed a few years of high school at Saint Catherine’s? She was off at a boarding school for at least one year but returned and graduated. Wasn’t there an incident where she fowled the school library? |
