Why is being fat okay but being thin isnt?

Anonymous
I've noticed a double standard where being overweight is called normal or "healthy" or "womanly" and being thin is considered disordered, sickly, frail, gross, etc. Women are way bigger on average than at any time in our past. I guess it's normalized now?

Yep. Fatties won the war! We had cake!

Not sure where you are coming from, but you sound like a very defensive anorexic.

+1

I've been underweight. As a teen and as an adult woman. It was no healthier than being overweight.

Why does everyone assume that the extreme opinions are the opinions of the majority?

Oh yes, isn't it amazing how all those celebrities and fashion models are now hugely overweight since it's now the acceptable body composition...oh wait, skinny is still celebrated. You're dead wrong op.
