It’ll be interesting to see if she can continue TP. She certainly sounds as divisive as he was.

Said Kirk: “If you thought that my husband’s mission was powerful before, you have no idea. You have no idea what you’ve just unleashed across this entire country, and this world. You have no idea the fire you’ve ignited within this wife.”

His audience was young white men who believed in traditional gender roles. I can’t see them embracing her as their new leader.

At least they know who she is presumably. A lot of people (probably older people but there are a lot of those) were not even very aware of Charlie Kirk until this terrible shooting. And that certainly has raised the profile of his platform because there has been so much coverage. Is it sustainable? It seems he was very influential in his sphere but not that well known outside of it.

Drawing attention to footage of his “debates” is probably the worst thing anyone could do for his legacy. Was just chatting with some Boomers who were curious about him and looked up his videos and they walked away shocked and disgusted about disrespectful he was.

And this how you know he was taken out by a variant of himself. No one else was paying attention.

2. Also, the conservative ecosystem wants its males to lead large movements. Women influencers in the conservative sphere, of which there are many, have to fight for a much smaller slice of the pie and usually their followers are other conservative women.

This family is done for now. Maybe in the fullness of time she can marry another male influencer and carry him to success. This appears to be her talent: pushing a husband to lead. I respect that. It's no small feat.

Not a political judgement even if i disagreed with him but when someone passes and you review their life's work and influence, man, that guy was NOT a good one. He did a lot of horrible things. This has nothing to do with his murder just objectively speaking, he was a terrible person who intimidated those who didn't agree with him and purposefully lied to forward his own agenda unashamedly. All of you who are scared or somehow don't want to speak ill of the dead have to be objective enough to judge someone on their merits. He was a creep for sure. That seems like a reasonable analogy. And you can certainly understand trying to turn your rage over your loss into action. But it's obviously very hard to do. The Sandy Hook parents have struggled to get results for their cause

I don’t agree with Charlie’s message or how he treated others. I am impressed that his wife is standing up in public to carry on his legacy and hateful message. That is a strong woman.

I hope her and their kids find peace and happiness but not with turning point or the crazy right wing initiatives she is pushing.
