High level political investigations are worthless now. They are politicized before they start. Trump taught us that.

Al Franken asked for an investigation and he didn't survive long enough for it to start. Justin Fairfax simply denied everything and now nobody cares.

Biden will gain nothing from an investigation. The story will stick around for months and the final report will mean whatever you want it to mean.

I don't know. I want an official investigation along the lines you suggest, so that people can have a little bit more trust in the process. I am afraid that the poster who said that investigations are now tainted is right, but... it doesn't mean we should just abandon due process.

You people clamoring for an official investigation - Reade filed a police report weeks ago. Biden asked yesterday for all of the relevant documents to be searched for and released. How are those not official investigations? What else specifically do you want?

I’m all for an official investigation too.

But we don’t yet live in the type of dystopia where the president’s opponents are investigated and his own many accusations aren’t. Do Trump’s 24 at the same time. Both presidential candidates. This isn’t China or Russia (yet).
