There’s an entire forum for for you to feel better about spending money on privates. This isn’t it. |
Right. I don’t believe so either, but I was trying to make a point to the PP who linked the “Best Schools in Virginia” to show that one school is better than another. |
What an odd statement. We're just discussing the local developments. Is this the forum for sour grapes because private school isn't even an option? |
Apparently so, but the rest of us still wish you’d go away, like your losing Republican candidates. |
|
I think most people actually like their public schools overall.
Not everyone is like you and is just mad that they can't afford private. |
Ironically, your views on tolerance, equity, and respect clearly extend only to those with whom you agree. A shame. |
| Student achievement gaps are caused by broad socioeconomic factors beyond the schools. The only result of One Fairfax will be redistributing student achievement gap into more schools and pyramids. |
Unfortunately, your views on tolerance, equity, and respect are impossible to discern, and this is not a short thread. |
I don’t understand the point of posts such as this. So you will go to private school. Ok. Nice. |
| It's always good to have options. |
We're just making conversation. |
When you’ve brought in extreme poverty and are making the PP pay for it, tell me why that pp’s kid should get the same. Now tell me again without being a damn Communist because you just described exactly that. |
Umm.. No. My kid should get better if I am paying thousands of dollars in taxes as compared to the parents of the kid in Herndon, who are probably here illegally and not contribute a dime to the tax base. Also, my community is not Fairfax, my community is where I choose to live. Stop looking for excuses to receive handouts. |
You would be happier in a metro area that is cut up into smaller incorporated cities/towns and smaller school districts. That way, you could choose your community and self-segregate until your supremacist heart is content. |
| they've held off on addressing boundaries for years, so they need to get to work now and make up for lost time. |
