As long as the principals and the School Board feel righteous, does it even matter? |
This is so true. AAP is a prime example. |

Only Democrats support AAP??? Wow, who knew? God, you're dumb. |
Not PP, but you're the dumb one if you don't understand that PP was pointing out the hypocrisy of Democrats who, on the one hand, can't say enough about equity and yet continue to support two-track academics (Gen Ed and AAP) and boundaries that reinforce economic segregation (for example, Langley/Herndon). The Republicans might also support AAP and oppose boundary changes, but at least we wouldn't have to put up with the blatant hypocrisy. |
It also happened at Westfield and Langley. https://wjla.com/news/local/fairfax-county-schools-fcps-national-merit-recognition-students-failure-notify-westfield-high-school-parents-langley-attorney-general-jason-miyares-governor-glenn-youngkin-civil-rights-investigations-thomas-jefferson-science-technology-virginia-education |
My child is at Longfellow MS currently; slated to go to McLean like their older siblings. How can I determine if Fairfax is going to bus him to Langley instead? |
If you were in the area that got moved to Langley from McLean in 2021, your kid would be at Cooper now, not Longfellow. |
| Is there one tax bill for each house |
So gross. Apparently, this is what passes for "equity" in FCPS. |
