So you’ll be in for a nasty surprise. |
| The school board objected, which is why it didn't happen. |
Older topic... But: Which areas of Woodson HS and Lake Braddock HS used to go to Annandale HS? We are looking to buy, and I would like to make that a part of my knowledge base. Thanks so much. |
Wakefield Forest ES used to be a split feeder to Annandale and Woodson and Ravensworth ES used to be a split feeder to Annandale and Lake Braddock. There might be other areas. Those are the ones I recall. |
While anything is possible, do folks consider reverting those areas to the original school districts to be likely? |
No. The local Democrats talk “equity” and practice segregation. |
This. Certain pyramids are heavily FARMS, certain pyramids have significant numbers of FARMs students, some have a few, and some have almost none. Currently, you will not see movement rezoning houses to a higher FARMs pyramid- those days are over |
The only pyramid that has almost no FARMS kids is Langley. |
And those kids will never be moved to a pyramid with FARMs kids |
Not unless the “mythical (yet still in the CIP)” western HS gets built at some point. |
It's a joke. They should really look at the Herndon/Langley boundaries. They make ZERO sense. equity among Ffx high schools and FARM rates are long overdue. |
|
We are getting equity.
Principals are withholding academic recognition from students. |
Shut up, TJ mommy. |
Why is this equity? How is the community of failing Black and Hispanic and disadvantaged students benefitting from this? The students who benefit from equity (poor Black/Hispanic) aren't taking SATs. National Merit isn't even in the cards for them. |
So sorry that academic achievement angers you. If it’s any consolation, there are other areas in which to excel. |
