Crap are you being sarcastic about this Lee guy? I have a rising u9 child and both clubs are equidistance from my home. I know there will be turn over at clubs but swapping coaches etc seems a bit much, who made out better after all the hires etc? Should I look elsewhere?

It doesn't hurt to look elsewhere. Both clubs are going to be crap shows for awhile. SYC had problems this year with coaches showing up for games. Not convinced this will change with the new slate and appears they are already going against their published policy on allowing players to play up. In an attempt to get LMVSC players to come over they are allowing them to play up at tryouts. Just call Este. It's all smoke and mirrors. Im not convinced anything will change and it will just be a lot of money wasted so your kid gets a new shiny uniform.

Great thanks. I guess I will roll the dice and try them both out if they are no conflicts. I am new in the area and have no loyalty to either club so I will give them a look with a fresh set of eyes.

I would have told you to go to LMVSC and tryout with Coach Tupy, he's amazing!. His U9 and U10 teams are top in the State. Unfortunately, at the Club's meeting it was announced he was leaving too.

Who are all of these college, National team, and professional players SYC keeps saying their “new” coaches developed? Seriously. LMVSC has had some good teams over the years but I do not recall them being the factory the SYC Social Media manager claims they were.

Yeah, I they must be talking about futsal. Which they somehow neglect to make clear...

I'm not sure whether this is a selling point--just think, you too could cart your 10-year-old out to California for a week of one game a day!

I am so confused by this SYC/LMVSC drama. Are all the coaches really just switching clubs? What is the point of all of this? Are players moving as well? All these players living within about 10 miles of each other. Seems like a massive waste of time and resources for two clubs that are pretty similar in terms of developing players. I just don't get it.

At LMVSC it was announced Lee Chang as Director of Technical Development and his bio says "VYSA State Championship Coach" but zero mention of him being part of SYC, same for Ben Kamara bio says some accomplishments but zero mention of SYC, to which I personally find sketchy and disrespectful.

I think both clubs are playing us parents!
