I sincerely apologize to those who speculated that the surviving victim was involved. I was one of the posters who thought it was disrespectful and disgusting to talk about a rape victim like that. I admit I was thoroughly wrong.

One thing I'm confused about now - did the co-worker call Jayna back, or was that part also a lie?

Thanks. I actually really appreciate that. It was such an upsetting thing that I can understand why people reacted that way.

My heart and prayers go out to the people on this board who were not believed when they first told us that it was an inside job and then when we didn't applaud them when they did a victory dance in the end zone they suffered again. They are the true victims in this tragedy.

Not all of us are gloating. I actually felt really bad when I was accused of being a terrible person for thinking that. I think it's very nice that someone gracefully apologized. It's sad that you are still trying to "win" this argument. There are no winners.

It just occured to me that on one hand if it wasn't rape and was sexual assaut that she may have been the only one. And that she made it seem like sexual assault to cover her ass. But how did she tie herself up and gag herself!

I'm guessing she just claimed she'd been tied up, maybe had some rope nearby, gave herself some rope burns, and just explained she "worked" on untying herself all night. If co-worker did indeed act alone, what's even more horrific is she spent the night there with a dead/dying Jayna. Sociopath.

I agree that there were most likely no men involved at all - that the masked men were just part of the "victim's" story ala Susan Smith.

I can't imagine what the motive was, PP who said she had been fired - that's a good guess. But I'm not sure someone would have gone back into a dark empty store with someone she just fired.

If this crime has happened the way that you describe and there were no male robbers at all, then she sexually assaulted the victim and herself in some way? This is the worst crime I have EVER heard of--I don't even know what this is...
