Cabell will swap PVI and GP in the pre-season rankings based on this scrimmage.

Cabell is doing the ranking?

And people give that credibility?

He actually does a pretty good job. Like him or loathe him, he is very knowledgeable about lacrosse in the area. Episcopal seems a little high but that’s to be expected.

A little? The guy can’t help himself. Once his kids are out of the system he may actually regain some credibility, in rankings and with his clubs. Until then however he’s a nepo joker.

Pvi took it to GP the other day.

If the Hoyas are the favorite to take home the IAC, then it must be a very down year.

what was the first half score?

5-2 or 5-3

Actual score was 10-4 PVI over GP but several garbage goals for future jv kids in the last part of the scrimmage.

We looked sharp for the boys first action. PVIs goalie was the difference.

Goals were not kept on the scoreboard - which may explain the varying tallies.

10-4 Final

7-4 late in the 4th when both coaches got kids playing time.

5-3 Halftime

Severn was young last year and brings back a good portion of their team this Spring. Look for them to be more competitive in the MIAA.

Playing starters into the 4th in the first scrimmage?

fragile egos over at SJC

8-3 and PVI looked really good against a confused GP team. PVI just ran circles on the defense and goalie was seeing nothing!

Landon is the overwhelming favorite in the IAC again just by default. Prep is going to have to work to beat Bullis.

Are you kidding me? Landon has zero offense and doesn't have a FOGO at the X. The Bears will struggle to even have the ball this spring.

The IAC could very well be a 3 horse race between Bullis, Land and GP. All of whom appear to be down this Spring. Give Hilgy another year or two with his own players and recruits, and he will have GP as a perennial top 15 program.
