I'm all for showcasing GA's renaissance period but keep it honest and equitable. I addeded additional teams because those are GA losses. Net benefit is still +4 GA (including Lonestar loss) and DPL is where most GA teams everywhere but here have their "GA 2" teams playing. Even with accurate spin. #GAFTW |
| With as many GA programs now nearby and the GA programs in the MA, unsure why they won't just bring DPL here for the GA2. All the clubs are going to have 2nd teams. |
I think it will happen slowly over time then all at once. NAL and GA Rising slowed things down a little but it's becoming more and more obvious that DPL is a better option for clubs. |
Isn't GARising dead now? |
You tell me... http://www.garising.com/ |
What's NAL? |
Well, ok then. |
What does that even mean? What league is this? |

If any local GA team beats any local ECNL next year and beyond at U16 or above that ECNL coach and technical director should be fired immediately.
(At the younger ages some of the ECNL teams may be more focused on developing proper technical skills and style of play and willing to lose to SYC etc, but in the recruiting years ever single ECNL team should be able to dominate ever local non ECNL team.) |
Hahaha you have no idea what you're talking about. There's good ECNL teams and there's terrible ECNL teams. It only gets better/worse as the girls get older as some quit playing, get boyfriends, etc. Also yes GA teams beat ECNL teams all the time and at multiple ages. |
lol this is not true. ECNL clubs play kickball. With an exception of a few |

Jessica Berman (NWSL Commissioner) spoke about Academies again today.
https://theathletic.com/5337948/2024/03/13/jessica-berman-nwsl-calendar-world-cup/ Berman also envisioned teams being willing to invest more in youth talent development because of the opportunity for a financial return even if that player didn’t end up on the first team. While some NWSL clubs have either reserve teams, such as Racing Louisville’s W League team, or relationships with youth academies, these elements aren’t yet baked into each club’s infrastructure. |
lol, good luck with that. Pay your current players like a professional sports league before you worry about having a youth system |
