Yes, it was not in the park, only 1/2 blocks away and the suspect ran through the park to get away at prime time. But, semantics. It’s ok bc it wasn’t “in” The park.

Not saying that at all. But saying it was in the park when it was not is not good either and undercuts credibility.

Did anyone hear the MPD update at the ANC meeting? Was doing a carpool and missed it. It usually takes a few days for the recording to be posted. Curious what may have been shared.

The shooter is not getting the services he needs and deserves. Matt has a plan.

Doubt he has a plan for much, he is a real lightweight. But, he will advance the agendas of more bike lanes and more affordable housing in W3, "for all," I have no doubt about that. With the enthusiastic support of many. I don't see the trends reversing anytime soon and he is the last person to create change on this issue. If you see him on his workday or at Art All Night, make your thoughts known if they differ.

If you support Pinto's new public safety bill, contact your CM, the at large members and Mendo to urge support. There are a lot of paid voices urging its demise. Hopefully Frumin will not waffle as he did in June, but, can't take his vote for granted.

Council passed a unanimous bill re: e bike rebates yesterday.

Besides Pinto, no one seems too focused on quality of life issues that impact families. But, other voices are louder.

Frumin would easily win again today.

Talk to neighbors about these issues. If the broad public support starts to shift, we may see some change from the Council. But we are not even remotely there yet, this thread has no power outside DCUMlandia.
