| Let's not exaggerate. Good to hear he's sorry, but he gave us a monster. |
I am sure he has an airtight alibi since he wasn't there because he doesn't eat pizza.

actually, with so much speculation about what actually happened, and who might or might not be involved, I realize the reason I haven't contributed to the Gofundme campaign for the slain housekeeper is that I feel uncertain of its legitimacy, since I've only seen it posted here. Maybe this is true for others? Is it silly? Maybe someone can put my concerns to rest. Has the link been published anywhere but here on this thread? (like in her obituary, news article?) Does it seem clear the money will go to her husband? thank you. |
| I don't do GoFundMe because of the fraud. If you have followed the story of the toddler who was found dead in a park in LaPlata (his mother was pushing him in a swing overnight) there are two GoFundMe pages for his funeral costs. Just so easy to commit fraud with it. |
oops, I do not mean to suggest that if it is the other housekeeper who set it up that I think she's involved. I didn't phrase it well. I guess I did see her name there, but assumed it was set up in her name by others, since it was so soon after the murders. I'm not feeling so good about my question! My goal here was to think about why there weren't more donations to this fund. I'm not trying to make people doubt it, but rather I'm hoping that if others can let me know where else it has been published, we can increase the donations, at least to the goal! I will donate something. |

I agree with you. |
If you read the article, you would see there is a lovely statement from Wint's family. They are anxious for the killers to be found accountable, EVEN IF IT IS THEIR SON. They say he only lived with them a short time over the years: seems they are distancing themselves from who. No ridiculous comments about pizza crust. They sound classy, BTW. |
That's pretty judgmental and completely unfair. You know nothing about this man or what he has been through with his son. He may have been victimized by his son over the years. Sometimes a parent and can do everything right and the kid still ends up being a bad person. I truly believe there are just some bad seeds. |
| Yes, there are some "bad seeds," but we know nothing about what went on in Wint's life before he came here at 20. I would imagine there is a history of abandonment and trauma at the very least. His dad was living here with his new family while Wint was in Guyana doing what exactly? We don't know. It would be very interesting to get a complete history of the family. I think it would reveal quite a lot about what made Wint and his brother "bad seeds." |
I totally agree. This guy and his wife have jobs, a nice house in the suburbs, a stable marriage, and a beautiful, college-bound daughter. They are cooperating with authorities, and may even have helped authorities capture the suspect. At the same time, we have solid evidence that the suspect has menaced and scared them over the years, and they pursued proper channels in an effort to get him to stop. They appear to be very good people, and I, for one, think they are worthy of our support, not our judgment. |
You are right that we shouldn't judge and that we know very little, but there appear to be at least three Wints who are bad seeds. Darrell and Durward also have lengthy records. |

Apologies if this story was already posted here. This happened in 2012. Wint should had been jailed then ... It would have saved four innocent lives.

The link and players are so public, I doubt there will be fraud. It:s been published in one news link which is where I found it many days ago. t. I bet if you google the link today you can see which news places have linked it. |
The age of that boy is such that it couldn't be the same Darron Wint. You've got the wrong guy. |
