Yes, they have money, but they have experienced just about the worst thing anyone can, and if they aren't looking around for other needy people, I, for one, totally understand! Let them heal. The rest of us can make sure that Veralicia gets home.

Judging not me. But they had the forethought to enter places to donate to. If those weren't posted it wouldn't have crossed my mind. Like thay say charity begins at home.

Who the H### are you to judge this family? You have absolutely no idea what they are doing for Vera's family.

I doubt SS' father has ever heard of "GoFundMe."

Do you feel better about yourself for judging? You must.

What about the housekeeper where is her gofundme link. Rude

You sound like a real piece of work.

Yes how do I live with myself the audacity? Me thinking of the slain housekeeper at a time like this.
What happened is beyond tragic there are no words. I am not judging sounds wmore likeI am being judged. I just think if donations can be sent to a girls whatever in they can just as easily be sent to assist with the housekeepers burial.

I can not imagine those who have such an ill opinion, ill formed, of the rich.

The epitome of ignorance.

These people did something for the world. The love that people had for them was not paraded, charaded, or led by any PR machine. These were genuinely good people. They "fit in" wherever they went, because not only did they do well, they did good.

As for Vera, plenty has been raised for her. Hypercritical, looking for fault PP: How much have you given?

+1

So typical. So predictable. Ignore. They deserve it.

Honestly, I think we should just ignore people saying stuff like this. They want attention.

You have no idea whether or not the family is contributing to the funeral. They would do so directly and not through the Go Fund Me site. There is absolutely no sign that they are overlooking the housekeeper.

I AM wondering if you've contributed to Vera's GoFundMe campaign? Somehow, I sincerely doubt it. The obit was for charities close to the family's heart. Given the know generosity of Savapoulos family, I am quite certain they are helping with Vera's funeral costs. I would think the GoFundMe link would be best written for Vera's obituary.

I saw a news report (WTOP??) that the family of the murderer is saying that they have the wrong guy because he wasn't a fan of pizza so that could not be his dna.

That was a quote from a shameless attorney that has represented the defendant in the past. There is no reason to believe his statement (the lawyer's) are based in facts.

Thats probabl ywhy he only ate some of one pie and not both pies. He was hungry and Dominoes is open all crazy hours-most places are not (ones who deliver anyway).

Everyone should read Dennis Wint's statement. He expresses grief for the four people lost, grief for the fact that his son, a person who lived with his wife (Darron's stepmother) and him for a brief period, has been charged, and a desire that anyone responsible for such a terrible crime, his son included if in fact his son is responsible, be brought to justice.

Could not be more different from the Ficker/pizza statement. That was just sloppy reporting in the WTOP headline. Dennis Wint is a class act who deserves our respect and a measure of privacy. In some reports, he is the person who called police and gave them his son's whereabouts last Wednesday.
