Y'all, I pulled an Ivanka the other day.

Running late, so I pulled out a dress I haven't worn in forever and just threw it on. Midmorning at work, I went into the restroom, looked in the mirror, and realized that the dress had weird puckery bust darts that ended at exaclty the wrong spot (no wonder it was shoved to the back of my closet).

I immediately thought of this thread and spent the rest of day trying to make sure my cardigan covered up the horrifying nipple darts.

She just can’t dress herself. She appears to be referencing Dior’s New Look (a style that coincided with the near complete stripping women of their newly acquired sociological and economic power, so kind of a gross reference) with that coat, her hair is 1930s Star of the Pictures! (which is how she sees herself), the makeup is 1930s Star of the Pictures! as interpreted by a Russian stripper and the pants are just the sad cropped pants they all wear. The effect is sorta grandma sorta stripper.

It's the collar - it's too wide - that is what is off. Top heavy here and collars need to be streamlined. Other than that I think she looks fine here.

I’m not sure if you’re new to fashion (it seems like it) but you don’t have to stop wearing white all winter long. You can wear it depending on the weight of the fabric, which in this case looks fine and appropriate for the season.

I prefer Ivanka's hair styled that way instead of the straight, part in the middle. But what is with the makeup change? What happened?

Can someone explain the photographer who is always in front of her house taking pictures of her when she leaves? Does the photographer secretly work for Ivanka? Or is it really a papparazzo? I saw all the family pictures of the Kushners walking to shul that were linked above. They were just so staged - it looked like a photo session if you hire your own private photographer.
