Moms - would you hire a young beautiful nanny??

Wondering what other women think. We have had a really hard time finding a good nanny. Just interviewed a nanny with great credentials and honestly she seems way smarter and potentially better than any of the other candidates we've interviewed so far. However, she is very young, gorgeous, has a bod that makes Kate Upton look like a homely nobody and wears clothes that make that very clear. I'm sure I'm particularly sensitive to the contrast since I am a new Mom and feel like a flabby lactating mess.

I trust my DH, I know the nanny has a serious boyfriend (and anyway while I love him most Kate Upton lookalikes are unlikely to find my dear DH that interesting lol) but I don't know if it is just asking for trouble. I will be traveling a lot once I go back to work and although it is admittedly silly, I don't know if I will feel weird knowing my DH is spending time (even if it just transitioning before and after work) with this lady.

I probably wouldn't do it. Why add worry to your life if you don't have to?

I would have. It would not have worried me.

That being said, I am now divorced. My ex was cheating. So take my advice for what it is worth...lol.

HELL NO.

Husbands don't really notice the incremental change in their wives bodies as much as women do, UNLESS you give him a constant compare and contrast right in the house.

Find some nice older Nana.

Wouldn't bother me. But my husband isn't the kind of guy who has ever found "attractive" women to be attractive, (lucky for me!) so I'm probably skewed. It does seem a bit unfair to NOT hire someone simply because she is good-looking, though?

+1. If you're feeling uneasy now, it'll constantly be on your mind later!

Normal pretty? Sure.

If she is as gorgeous as you describe, I would prefer not. I don't need someone who looks like a porn star in my house.

Nope, I wouldn't

Fu&k no! Are you kidding me? DH is a man and that's just way too much temptation. Sorry but the nanny should be ugly compared to you.

Kate Upton is a porn star now?

The fact that you only did one interview with her and already know she has a serious boyfriend is a red flag to me. She is not professional and doesn't know boundaries.

So I would not hire her for those reasons. Her looks would have nothing to do with it.

I would but my husband wouldn't.

I thought this as well! I wouldn't hire her, but just because she's pretty she's a porn star? That's sad.

That's a really good point!

Yes, hire her. If hiring her gives your DH even the most minuscule chance of tapping that, you need to do it. Should be obvious.
