The au pair did not make him cheat. He was already inclined to do so.

This. I can't even fathom my husband cheating on me, but if he did I would blame him, not the hot (or ugly) whoever. He made a commitment to me and I'm sure he sees super hot people all the time. Cheating may be a crime of opportunity but its also a choice and if someone wants to cheat they'll find an opportunity.

We have my son's lovely young tutors accompany us on vacations to watch DS who is 7. This summer we are going to Europe and then moving in with my brother on the West Coast for the summer. One of DS's nannies is spending the summer with us.

I wish/hope DB who is divorced is interested in the nanny but I have little hope. Although DB is in great shape and rich, he is in his forties, ancient for a girl in her twenties.

she works in big law, husband also a lawyer. She laughed off the idea of an pair to her marriage which she considered stong. He left her for the au pair, whom he is still married to ten years later. She was blindsided.

I did too. Call them my "hobby" boyfriends bc they had expertise in areas I was interested in... Older, rich and glamorous is very appealing,
your avg guy with a wife and mortgage not so much. If you are young and hot, you have choices.
