Although I am usually a stickler for proper grammar and word usage - I have noticed that I say some absurd things to my dog. Especially when heard out of context. Just for fun, what was the last thing you said to your pet?
Mine - " you have the goodest teeth!" (She has lovely straight, white teeth) |
| "Hi Buggy!" Got home and he greeted me at the door. His name is not Buggy. I just have all sorts of ridiculous nicknames for him. |
| I just said 'Oh, hi ____. I didn't see you there.' |
| "We love you, puppy." As we left him at the vet for the last time. |
|
"what are you doing, you twit?"
It was said in the most loving way possible. She's hilarious. The oddest thing I think I've ever said to her is "get your nose out of my buttcrack!" Yea. |
Aww that made me se sad. I'm sorry . We said "we love you, you're a good girl" when we were in that situation
To our cat I just said " you are NOT hungry, stop it, you have food". ( she thinks she's getting fresh food every time we enter the kitchen, even if her bowl is full) |
|
"Run run run run run run!"
To my beloved cat who loved to climb trees as we were sedating him the last time. |
Aww. This light hearted thread has turned so sad
|
I clicked on it expecting a sad thread due to the way the title is worded. "I love you. You are such a good dog." |
|
I'm the one with the "We love you puppy."
My son brought his dog over for a visit this afternoon. To his dog I said "I don't know why you wanted out.." He had barely gone out, then turned and looked at me with his head half sideways. Why do we talk to pets as if they're going to answer us?? |
| I cannot wait until I meet you at the Rainbow Bridge... |
|
I just tucked my 3 pups in for the night. I gave each one a mini milk-bone, kissed them on the head and said "Good night baby" to each one of them.
Dogs are so sweet. |
| Op here. I notice many ppl think it's a sad thread due to title. I wish I could edit it! |
| ^^ I opened it thinking maybe someone had just said goodbye to their pet. |
| "no!" |
