Ohhhhh. That's really nice. We've been through this with four dogs and each time I have said the same thing: whispering "Good dog, good girl/boy, good dog, good dog" until it was over. I figured that was what they'd associate with feeling happy and safe and like good things were going to happen. :sigh: |

K this is v sad bc we just had to say goodbye to our one cat and I wanted my last words to her to make she knew how much we loved her.
HOWEVER. To my remaining cat, I looked at her this morning as she was stretched out on the couch and I gave her a belly pet and said, "you have the nicest goddamned life, don't you, Stinkle Binkle?" Her name is not Stinkle Binkle. I have no idea where I get this. |
