Political Discussion
It's not holding up Fox. The right needs to try something new because this nonsense is not working for the right or anybody else. |
That person has been caught. It appears he spent too much time online, lost track of morality, and killed someone. As of this moment, it appears there is no larger group of “evil doers” to condemn. Like a lot of violence in this country it was the lone wolf. So who exactly has “no idea what they have done.” And what does that mean — that type of language usually proceeds some sort of unleashing of revenge. She is angry and lashing out at some imaginary enemy. Disagreeing with Charlie Kirk’s message doesn’t make one an evil doer. She is crazy and looking for people to scapegoat for her unhappiness just like so much of the right. |
I loathe Trump, but this story has been squelched for the better part of my lifetime. Timothy McVeigh was portrayed as a lone wolf with fringe beliefs. The FBI wrapped him and Terry Nichols up and closed the book as fast as it could. "The FBI failed to fully investigate information suggesting other suspects may have helped Timothy McVeigh and Terry Nichols with the 1995 Oklahoma City bombing..." "Information that McVeigh called a German citizen living at a white supremacist compound in Oklahoma two weeks before the bombing and that two witnesses saw the men together before the bombing." https://www.cbsnews.com/news/fbi-criticized-for-okc-investigation/ |
Of course, not she can’t make money unless she demonizes the left. |

This is an interesting analysis: https://www.garbageday.email/p/charlie-kirk-was-killed-by-a-meme
I think at this point we just do not know, but I don’t think the theory that he was a leftist agitator holds up. He was either a Groyper (a group that was systematically harassing Kirk for years) or even more terribly part of an extremely dark internet subculture pushing kids to do acts of extreme violence for clout. TBH at this point I would prefer that he was some BlueSky Antifa type with a violent but at least understandable agenda. but the truth seems to be more dark. |
(Btw to clarify, by “understandable” I mean that it is coherent and has logical steps, not that it is excusable.) |
These people need to be sued into oblivion for this if more college shootings happen. I’m so sick of people lying and saying the most outrageous things and putting others in danger for clicks and attention. We need massive consequences and as a society, we need to stop accepting lies and supporting the fake outrage. |

“Asked to comment on Mr. Fuentes’s remarks, White House officials declined. Current and former members of the Trump administration as well as outside advisers would not be quoted for the record about Mr. Fuentes out of fear, they said, of inviting online attacks from him and his zealous followers.”

Unfortunately, the president of the United States and the richest man in the world both own platforms that peddle this garbage, so it’ll never happen unless people choose en masse to get off the internet. |
| The killer made no reference to jews. A groyper would have done so. |
Ok so right here ^^^ this is the crux of the problem. Oddballs? Are you the epitome of ‘normal’? |
We're at the prove it wrong stage. Currently every indicator is against us. There are those on the right that thought they could foment hate and come out on the other side unscathed (yep, they daydream of post trump). They've been grooming hate, they built an echo chamber, they've derailed the lives of their own kids. Now they see these forlorn nihilist will come for their own first. |
Geez. I hope for their own self-preservation the Trump admin and GOP thoroughly investigate if Fuentes radicalized the Kirk shooter. But I feel like their desire to p0wn the libs and possibly the Epstein thing means that this will disappear into oblivion. I do wonder though what Kirk’s wife and family will do. |

+1 I’m sick of all of these political influencers and the news. Pushing crazy shit for clicks is why we are the way we are. Hopefully this turns things around. This is the first real life consequence of the rhetoric that has been created. To be clear I’m not saying that it’s Charlie Kirk’s fault, but this killer was not made in a vacuum. When it gets too hateful the words on the screen will turn to real life action. |
