Agree. I cannot believe she would serve less than 5 yrs for premeditated killing. She literally shot an innocent man to death, knowing he was innocent, after SHE lured him to the scene. She pulled the trigger and killed him when he was writhing in pain. That is COLD BLOODED, no matter how "in love" you are. I hope the judge gives her more than 1.5 yrs (which is the likely "time served"). This is where the community needs to rise up and show that they demand more than 1.5 yrs of incarceration for cold-blooded, pre-meditated, depraved heart murder.

There’s still the few mins gap that BB took to go back to the house. It’s still unexplained what was happening within that time.

My guess:
JR was waiting in the car. Not sure if you know their house but it’s basically “hidden” in a cul de sac, with a shared driveway.

If you’re parked on the street, people in the driveway can’t quite see your car.
JM does call BB, he arrives, they go around through the other side (opposite to the driveway), go in the basement and text JR (pretending to be CB) saying he can go in and go upstairs.

That would make JR’s car and their car show up in Ring cameras around the neighborhood at the time they wanted to tell the police it happened.

Prosecutors say that when JM and BB went into the bedroom, JR was "holding CB down" -- so CB surely thought she was being attacked. Then BB shoots JR, and he falls away from CB.

Imagine CB trying to process what is happening... she is being attacked in her bedroom, then her husband comes in to "save her" and literally in the next few minutes, he stabs her. Was BB acting like he was comforting CB for a few minutes before he pulls out a knife and stabs her? Just really craven on the part of BB.

The first 911 call was cut short because BB told JM to cut it off, b/c he hadn't yet stabbed CB. (from what the prosecutor's letter seems to say).

Again, imagine CB thinking she's just been saved from being attacked, and then the person who "saves" her, turns on her with a knife. We can only HOPE that CB did not see the knife coming at her and that she lost consciousness quickly.

You have to admit, and I’m going be direct that I am not victim blaming either victim for this, but he must’ve thought she was a pretty good actress from her reaction when she was being held down. Couldn’t another human being tell when another human being is terrified? I mean what if he had just stopped and said hey are you still OK with this? And she would’ve been like WTF do you mean!?

Yet you are victim blaming. He was trapped and then he was murdered. What you are saying is thoughtless and cruel. They both still would have been brutally murdered in seconds. No one has to admit to anything accept to again victim blaming. Shame on you for posting this.

There is no more room for victim blaming as it is unfair to those that lost both Joe, he was set up, and murdered in cold blood. He was asked to play a part, and then disposed as if his life meant nothing.

I’m wondering if you were connected to Joe because in no way is this victim blaming it’s just being said that had there been a safe word, could it have prevented this whole tragedy? I cannot imagine what Joe thought once he realized what was really happening. The terror, The deceit, etc.

Likely the timeline is not as described, just as it has come out that the gun safe story was a lie (they were both armed from the getgo per the court yesterday). Either BB came back before JR got there (staging all the calls as part of the ruse) or they messaged him to wait until directed to go inside or something.
