Fairfax County Double Murder

Because that is how a plea bargain works. What’s in it for her to plea? Usually for a defendant it is for a lesser charge/sentence vs gambling with what could happen with a jury.

She is in jail and has been for a year. She will remain there until after the husband’s trial. She isn’t being sentenced until AFTER that trial. When that trial is over, if she has met her requirements under the deal (which they are not disclosing so we won’t know what they are but I assume they include her being a state’s witness and testifying against him), then she will be sentenced. Apparently state would be asking for time served. But the judge has to accept that at that time and she/he isn’t required to accept that and may impose a sentence (that certainly has happened before in other cases). Whatever her sentence is, she will be deported immediately once it’s completed.

Will she also be banned from re-entering the US?

Absolutely!

There’s a case of a woman who’s famous in Brazil, she let a Brazilian TV channel follow her around Florida, registering her life here and one of the things she did and showed in the TV show was her job as a waitress. Somehow that got to USCIS. She was working on a tourist visa, which is illegal. She was deported and banned for life for inciting other immigrants to come here and work illegally….. Imagine Juliana…

How do you know she will be deported? Which of course needs to happen and I'm hoping she gets additional jail time but I'm curious.

Because that is what they do with immigrants who have been convicted of a felony and finish serving their sentence.

She’s not an immigrant. An immigrant is someone that comes here with documents to stay for good. A green card holder is an immigrant. An US national (someone that wasn’t born here but gained U.S. citizenship) is an immigrant.
She was here on a work visa. She’s merely a visitor, who wasn’t able to respect the laws of this or any country in the world and killed someone.

To a certain extent, her being “released” and sent back to Brazil may make sense to the judicial system.
She will not be an expense and if she’s sent back to her country, with 0 possibility of coming back, she’s no longer a threat to the American people. They want the American… BB.

I don’t think that would be right, specially through JR and CB’s family. If they were my family, I would like to see her rot in jail…. But that’s not how it works.

But if only one can rot in jail based on the evidence available, better BB than JM.

He spoke to Juliana , thinking it was the wife.

I guess I'm assuming the fetish guy was an innocent who was set up, but he could've been a criminal they were paying. I just don't see how you wouldn't question a nice looking lady inviting you to her huge house in a fancy ass neighborhood at like 7am to attack her. It's not anything close to normal.

Have you not read any of the new stories? Have you not been paying attention? Are you purposely being obtuse? He was set up. This was all done on the fetish site. There is evidence and Juliana admitted it.

To friends and family of Joe, this must be bittersweet. It does help protect the little girl at least, hopefully BB will never walk free again.

I hope Tess is arrested soon and the child is reunited with Christine’s family and her beloved former au pair.

Their stories never made much sense, the truth is more plausible.

It’s not close to normal, that’s why he was on a fetish website. If it was normal, he’d be on Tinder.

He was a bit freaky but he thought he was doing something that was consensual. He was set up, lured there. It isn’t his fault. He was not in on it.

What happens if BB is granted a retrial for whatever specious reason? Would testimony from a witness who was deported be admissible? Hope prosecutors make sure this sticks.

The only thing I still think is weird is the message that said "I lost 20lbs and my husband didn't even notice". Did Brendan write that? Juliana?

That’s the only think you still think is weird?

How did you even see this message? Are they all posted somewhere as part of the evidence package?
