Meanwhile Terry’s kid graduates from a private secondary school this weekend…such a man of the people.

No thanks. We’ve had enough of his hypocrisy already.

So, he is not allowed to use his money as he pleases? I thought that was the way conservatives intended for the rich.

He did a lot of good things for people while he was Governor. Some people with money are capable of caring about those of lower SES than them.

Terry wants to do “good things” with other people’s money without any impact on the privileges his own pampered children have. It’s the only way he knows how to get votes.

He'll never raise taxes on businesses, nor any of his buddies in Great Falls or McLean.

He was in office when VEDP hired Stephen Moret and endorsed him- and Moret got us Amazon HQ2. And if you want to tell the state we shouldn’t have an economic tech boom, you should vote against Terry in the primary.

The tech boom in nova will help rural regions as part of the bid was to expand tech teaching the rest of the state. Some of you probably won’t like that- but your kids and grandkids will.

I’m for Terry. I’m gonna be honest- I like what he did and I’m happy to vote him back in.

Bolded - NOT TRUE. Terry has 5 kids. His youngest, Peter, was in my son's class at Gonzaga High School. Terry was governor until January 2018. Peter and my son started at Gonzaga in August 2017. I remember when we found out the governor's son was in my DS' class, I was curious if he (Peter) was going to commute to DC to school all the way from Richmond.

All you Youngkin boosters: are you okay with legislators overruling voting results announced by local election officers? That’s what state-level Republicans are pushing all over the country.

Happy primary day!

They are going to make our state very prosperous. If you don’t want to be properous, West Virginia is calling.

Context matters. A lot of politicians send their kids to private school for security reasons.

Bush did. Clinton did. Obama did. Trump did. The last president who sent their kids to public school was Carter

Private schools can handle the extra security. Pubic schools can’t.

He doesn’t have to do it. He just needs more businesses.

Which he got with Amazon.

Remember- if your tax base is huge, you don’t need a high tax rate.

January 6th was an affront to our republic, but it’s the local Democrats who made parents’ lives miserable for a solid year and pander incessantly to groups who’d confiscate the savings of families if they could to further their radical agenda.

It is unbelievable to me that you equate virtual learning during a pandemic to a violent attack on the seat of our democracy.

Republicans are against democracy. A vote for a Republican is a vote against our democracy. Beyond trump and the national Republicans whitewashing the national 1/6 attack, you have Republican led states conducting “audits” of a legitimate election and passing laws that allow legislators to overrule county election officials’ vote counts.

The gop is literally delusional at this point.

Vote them out.

I was going to sit out but I guess I’m voting McAuliffe, Herring, & McLellan. I guess I’m still a D but I’m more centrist.

The Democrats run everything in Virginia at this point. And we're all paying the price for their pandering.

We need more balance, especially at the state and local level.

The local public school systems are tanking and losing thousands of kids; the state's reputation for being business-friendly is declining; the current Democratic politicians have embarrassed themselves with their prior scandals; violent crime is increasing; law enforcement departments are demoralized and can't fill positions; and people are increasingly demonized if they are White or Asian (unless they are LBGTQ).

Fairfax County as of 12:50 pm: “As of now, the unofficial estimated turnout for today’s June 8 Democratic primary is 2.72%.”
