BSC is a good choice but soccer does need a field.

come on ppl, tennis does not use a field- think outside of the box.

There are many private schools in MoCo with grass or turf fields. Only public school fields are closed for rental.

As long as the camp adheres to the social distancing and 9 players+1 coach requirement, they are allowed to hold camp.

Hence, expect more camps. Whether or not parents will sign their DC up for camp is another story. I am not.

Ha I knew this response was coming.. the thread led here.

But on a lighter note, BSC did just send an email regarding registering for summer camp so it sounds as if that is still on for those looking.

We're in stage 1, Maryland youth soccer says individual training only. In stage 2, they suggest 10 per half of the field; so BSC might be able to rent a private field with a liability waiver, but they can only have 20 people on the field. Or they face even steeper liability because they are not following the state youth soccer recommendations.

Bethesda parent here as well. I have not heard of such a thing. Isn't the season over for most age groups? What age group are you?

I keep seeing folks talking about BSC restarting training on here. What would they be training for at this time? The "potential" for a previously cancelled tournament to be played in the Summer?
