I mean Charles has been very clear on wanting to streamline the monarchy for years. So Harry and MM would have gotten the boot eventually, likely once William is on the throne and his kids are older.

I suspect Charles would have provided for Harry to ensure he and his kids would be financially set for life regardless.

Harry is ditching the royals so he can amass an even bigger fortune with no questions asked. It’s a dick move; William is left to shoulder the duties and he won’t be able to build a celebrity fortune.

I hope Charles leaves the bulk of his estate to Will.

It’s time William stepped up and actually produced something. So if this is the kick in the pants he needed - by all means.

Umm no not ever. Charles has out worked William everyday of his life. When he was in his 30s he was doing 400+ engagements a year. He founded the Prince’s Trust in his 20s. He’s run the Duchy of Cornwall since he was 21.

William hasn’t even gotten close to 200 engagements in a single year at the age of 37. He’s founded nothing - zip-zero. He won’t even take over the Prince’s Trust.

He has 3 little children and the means to spend plenty of time with them. His father appears to have been more interested in becoming his mistress’s tampon.

Right. He’s the only royal who’s ever had small children.

That’s aside from the rumors that he lives in Anmer Hall during the week while Kate takes care of the kiddies at Kensington Palace. (You never see him with them while shes always out at the nearby park with at least 2.)

It’s no secret that Elizabeth’s kids were mostly raised by nannies and Charles doesn’t seem to have been all that involved till Diana’s passing, so just having little kids doesn’t automatically confer parent-of-the-year status.

If they do this then Canada, being part of the commonwealth would be a better choice. If they do the USA it’s because Megan wants to be closer to her mother and perhaps show off her husband. If they end up in LA, the marriage will collapse because that’s what happens to marriages there. Someone will seduce Harry.
