She represents the complete opposite of what his life has become.
Freedom, no family responsibilities, fun, etc.

Then BOOM....
He wants to leave his current life behind & start all over again.
Fresh start in life.
But he has four lives that need to be out of the way first.
And this is where no one can relate.

Annilahtion of an entire family is unthinkable.
Most, if not ALL people would likely abandon before killing.

The new audio tapes show Chris sounding very remorseful.
He quotes the Bible and states that he now has a relationship w/God that he never thought possible.
He says if he could take it all back he wishes that he could.
He regrets many of his behaviors.

He says his initial lack of emotion response was how he was raised by his family.
He says he has no explanation for WHY he killed his family.
Like it wasn’t under his control.

He now cries when he speaks of Bella + CeCe.
He even acknowledges that he would have a one-month old baby boy named Niko.

He also says that “Nikki” knew from the get-go that he was married w/young kids.
I always believed she did.
It was very suspicious how when Shan’nan went missing, she automatically erased everything off her cell.
Then goes to the police station and acts all innocent.
Like Chris lied to her.
And she is in a sense, a victim as well.

Yet she is Googling if the police can trace her texts plus how much $$ Amber Frye made w/her book, etc.

Even though Chris sounded remorseful, outgoing & like a regular likeable fellow w/a sense of humor plus an intelligent brain, I still will always despise what he did to his family.

Watching videos of Bella + Celeste has me in tears, yet I keep going back because I love seeing their adorable smiles again.

Unless you are a friend/relative, your obsession with this is bizarre and unhealthy. You need to take a serious step back.

Chris, is a handsome/loving/engaged Father as well as husband.
He works hard to provide for his family while also playing often w/his two adorable young daughters who are just so adorable + precious.

Shan’nan, an attractive/ambitious/outgoing & loving Mother who dedicated her entire life to her family.
Vivacious and down-to-earth, she looks like she would be a great friend to have.

Smiling family pictures paint a rosy, happy family.
ALL American Dream.....

Yes this is the portrayal of the American Dream. From Shanann's texts all was pretty normal except for ordinary marital issues until he met Nicole. His parents seemed to cause him a lot of problems. I mean his mom was disparaging Shanann after she was murdered. Pretty unbelievable.

Don't believe she said that, along with some other things he claimed about her. It makes him more sympathetic if the wife is painted as a B. When he made that stupid comment about how he shouldn't be defined by one single act I knew he told some lies about Shannan.

What I do believe. He wishes he never met Nicole, ignored her advances, stayed out in the field at work, and wished Shanann didn't leave for 5 weeks. He said they had a good marriage up until the affair. Very typical of men who cheat. And he was feeling pressure from Nicole who would throw a tantrum when he needed to be back home.

I don't see how this is "fatal attraction". I'm guessing she pushed him to leave, to be with her and her only. Not saying she's completely innocent, but HE is the murderer.

True she wasn't boiling bunnies, but it shows she was trying to manipulate him. If you read that 33 page report Nicole had quite the temper and was Bi-polar. Yes he was the murderer, but I can't discount Nicole's role.

In what?? Having an affair? Yes, she did, and he did. He murdered his wife and toddler children. That is so many levels beyond infidelity that I hope I'm misunderstanding your comment.

Notice how Nicole has been off the grid.

I wonder if she still works at the same company.

My gut tells me she knows more than she is spilling.

Why are you obsessed with her? What else could she know - he’s already confessed to killing all four victims. It’s not like there’s a fifth child with an amber alert out on it.

No from all I've read she had to quit and is at a undisclosed location. Probably in a different state.

LOL Well she'd better get some good plastic surgery along with that new name!

This man made the choice to fall in love and kill his family. No one can make a grown man do that unless he himself is morally, inherently corrupt.

PP Here:

These cases are very interesting to me, likely because I have a tiny connection to them.

Scott Peterson’s older brother, his wife + sons lived right across the street from me in a corner house on a cul-de-sac.
Apparently Peterson’s folks let them live there.

I attended the same church as them & Janey Peterson (the wife) was my son’s Awana Leader.
Her son, Jacob Peterson was in my Awana group.
He was in third grade at the time.

When Lacey initially went missing, Janey put tons of “Missing Person” posters throughout the neighborhood.
Even when Lacey’s body was found - she never removed the posters.
She was a friendly, Christian woman to my family.
However she always backed up her BIL Scott which I never understood.

And sometime last summer, I saw a group (about five) women by the bay in San Diego/Coronado.
One was Shan’nan I believe.
I thought it odd that all 5 women had on these colored patches.
I asked one of them (not Shan’nan) if they were nicotine patches because I had never seen any so colorful.
The woman chuckled and said no.
It was an energy patch with white caffeine leaf.

I actually thought the patches looked odd.
Kinda like stickers for grown women.

PP, you do not sound well. You think that you saw this woman in San Diego last summer and you lived across the street from a relative of Scott Peterson and you think that that makes it totally justified to post these long, flowery quasi poems about this crime, watch videos of this woman's children online, not just once, but over and over again while crying about it?

That is not a normal response to this situation. You need help.
