What do you the most judgemental about?

because pitbulls are so much "higher" evolved animals than foxes?

ummm no.

because foxes have more of a fair fight in the hunt against a rifle than a dog against another dog?

ummm no.

because after the fox is killed we eat it?

ummmm no.

There are many distinctions between hunting (of which I do not approve) and dogfighting... the nature of the animal, the life of the animal before its death, the type/speed/pain of death, the purpose of death. Dogfighting also includes more than just pitbulls. Small lap dogs are often used as bait. But, even if you are correct and hunting is also wrong, it does not make dogfighting any more right. It's unconscionable.

I judge those who support animal cruelty whether it involves a a pitbull bred for fighting or a cow, pig or chicken mistreated before the slaughterhouse. Anyone who is ok with the abuse of animals is quite sick in the head.

The statistics on bites bear this out. Be obtuse if you like, and your kids will suffer as a result.

the breed should be banned.

You are weird. Why the all caps? The pit bull jaw thing is a myth that was dispelled a long time ago. You can say she would be dead but you sound extremely paranoid and over the top. I've been around exactly one pit bull I didn't trust in my life and sure enough it had idiots for owners that mistreated it to try to make it tough. It climbed in my lap and when I pushed it off it did bite me in the face. It didn't even break skin. My point with the Golden Retriever was people are so focused on Pit Bulls that it leads to false sense of security around other popular and considered safe breeds. This is a mistake. Dogs are individuals. Period.

NP here

Because someone disagrees with you they are stupid or a sociopath. Wow, you are very pretentious and high and mighty.

You do know that a lot of White people enjoy the sport of dog fighting. It's not a racially divided sport.

It's not really a question of pretension or being high and mighty. There's moral and immoral. People can argue whether hunting and slaughterhouses are also cruel, but no one can make a case that dogfighting is okay.

That is, unless they are stupid or sociopathic.

Dogs are not individuals. People are individuals and dogs are animals. BTW--how did this thread disintegrate into dog fighting. I thought that argument ended eons ago. Will DCUM ever get away from this.

You are right. I meant each dog is different and should be considered as such.

Well maybe not exactly right ,as you can refer to animals as individuals and be correct ,even though it's most commonly used for a person.

Oh, you guys are still talking about animals... I'll come back later then.

I think we should get back to the asshole who professes to be a school snob & contends that there are lots of people like her. She must have some serious issues.

I need to retract this statement. Yesterday I was flipping through a magazine and saw a Vera Bradley bag I actually liked.
