They had a problem with Scott for some reason from day 1 and their anger intensified when they learned a petite blonde they considered “hot” like Amber (who I don’t think is hotter than Laci) was banging Scott. They were “sure” Scott killed Laci for Amber

Scott looked like a puffy drunk back then. He was no prize. |
For some reason…. Hmm what could it be? It’s a real mystery. |
It’s an example of how affair obsessed the cops and media are in this country. It started with the Lewinsky saga and didn’t stop. The tabloid worthy tale is more shocking then a random crime by a perp with a long rap sheet. A poll taken about Gary Condit revealed that over 60% of Americans thought he had something to do with her disappearance and death |
I agree. He was fat and cheap and others at the marina were laughing at how tiny his fishing boat was compared to him. But apparently, Modesto cops thought he was suave and handsome and kept talking about it like weirdos and wanting to tap Ambers phone hoping to hear phone sex and a confession from Scott-neither of which happened |
So maybe married men should stop having affairs if it causes so many problems. |
I think you have a thing for him. Those cops weren’t idolizing that trash. |
Maybe women should be put to death for adultery like in the Biblical days. Let’s make this a Handmaidens tale for crying out loud. At least you were honest enough to admit you don’t care about evidence. You want all cheaters to go to jail if their partner goes missing. That’s unless it’s one of your loved ones of course. Then you want a reasonable 21st century Justice system not a Salem witch trial and scarlet letter system |
Just wandered into this thread. Surprised there is such strong defense of Scott, it feels like someone from his family or defense team is doing most of the posting. |
In two of the cases you mentioned Condit and Clinton, both ended up much better off than their affair partners. Not sure why we are supposed to pity the adulterer? Scott is better off than Laci because at least he’s not dead. But he’s guilty as sin and got had his day in court. Write another love letter and tell him all about it. |
Eww No, I don’t have a thing for him at all. I thought he was guilty until the A&E doc But this six part documentary (which was very impartial in my Opinion) convinced me he was innocent. Can you explain why the cop at 6:25 made this remark about asking women to rate Scott’s looks? |
The cops wanted to eavesdrop on possible Amber and Scott phone sex. They were fascinated with both of them and unconcerned about following up on leads about Laci’s disappearance. They didn’t even call one hospital to see if Laci went into labor. They assumed on night 1 after Scott mentioned fishing that it was a murder not a kidnapping and scoured the waters and couldn’t find any bodies until April. Somehow, Laci and Scott wash ashore with different pants/clothing, tape stuck to both their bodies, and a tied rope around Connors neck. How can you wash ashore after four months with tape still stuck on your body and a rope around the neck? The umblicial cord wasn’t found but the rope somehow tied itself under water. They were planted on the shore. It’s impossible to wash ashore with tape on. A bandage can’t even stay on in a pool or during a shower so imagine tape for under 4 months in a bay |
The Scott Peterson sympathizer sounds like a defense attorney throwing out all kinds of random conjectures in order to facilitate doubt. But that doesn't work in this court of public opinion. If Scott didn't do it, give us a rational, detailed, and thorough explanation of what you believe happened instead. And explain away any conflicting evidence. |
Because we have a morality police more than we have an actual Justice system. Laci knew about Scott’s past affairs and she didn’t care so why did Nancy Grace? |
I already did. What are the chances of 2 crimes (burglary/home invasion and Lacis disappearance) happening at the same time right across the street from each other? |
